A waste of time and money.
UPDATE: I received an email on the 4th of August informing me that they have indeed ceased trading.
Placed a 5 day delivery order in June and surprisingly everything arrived ok, a few postcards were damaged but other than that I was impressed and it looked like things had definitely improved over the last year.
Now jump to my most recent order that was placed on the 24th of July, I had thought after my first order in over a year that Awesome Merchandise had improved but nope, things are still as bad as it was last year.
I placed a £600+ order for postcards, prints, stickers etc. Although they arrived quickly and almost everything was fine, the postcards are an absolute mess. For some reason they've added a 1cm+ thick border around all of the designs, some of the postcards are damaged, a large number of them have bashed in corners and loads of them have print errors, which includes faint designs. Some of them are so damaged around the edges that they look like they're actually really old postcards with worn down edges.
Now I used the same file I sent in before, with no edits apart from adding 4 more designs, making it a total of ten postcard designs. I assumed as it was the exact same file, I would receive the exact same postcards but nope instead i've received 5000 postcards that are a complete mess, thick borders, print errors, damaged edges and corners and as I ordered 5000 over 10 designs, I assumed I would receive 500 of each... which to no surprise wasn't the case at all. Some designs I have over a 100 more of and others way less than 500. It's like they just chucked the designs into the printer, pressed a random quantity and left it at that.
I also received no emails to confirm proof, apart from for the stickers. I ordered bookmarks too and they cut off my watermark from the base of each design, so now if these are sold, my branding is no longer on them.
I then contacted them through live chat and was told I can't be helped and that I would need to leave my details and I would receive a reply within 24 hours... it's now been 3 days and apart from a confirmation that they received my email, i've had no update. Their phone numbers don't work as they're conveniently having maintenance right now (as told by the live chat rep) and now today their website no longer works. One of my parcels also arrived taped up and heavily damaged, I had assumed this might be a UPS issue, but can see from a review below that it's happened to another customer too... clearly wrapping damaged boxes before being sent.
I will be happy to change this review if my issue is resolved but as my order is for an extremely important client, that Awesome Merchandise could now ruin for me, I cannot see it changing any time soon and I wouldn't be surprised if the website is down because they've finally shut down operations.
