Lost a customer through bad deliveries

Lost a customer through bad deliveries. Such a shame, but after years and 5 complaints I’ve had to leave them. The food quality and set up is great. Although since they sold out the ethos is not so good. They use DPD delivery and countless times the box would be left on my doorstep in full view of the street- open to theft but also signalling that the house is empty all working day. Every other delivery service manages to leave stuff inside the gates- but not DPD. Complaints were ‘escalated’ but I felt like mindful chef just kept throwing me £5 vouchers rather than solving the issue. After the fifth complaint I moved to Hello Fresh who use Evri and deliver to the right place. Wasn’t listened to, just threw money at me.

We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your recipes, but I’m very sorry to learn that you experienced this poor delivery service experience.

We really value your feedback and take all of our customers’ concerns on board, so we know where to improve and work to resolve any issues.

I want to reassure you that there are processes in place to stop these things from happening. Whilst there aren’t any widespread issues, it seems that you’ve been incredibly unfortunate lately and I can’t apologise enough for the inconvenience.

I will follow up with DPD and have escalated this again as a formal complaint. This will go straight to the depot manager and we’ll try to get this fully resolved for you.
It’s crucial that we know where the service can be improved, so thanks so much for telling us about your experience.

Wish I’d read reviews before I ordered - got stung with £16.99 next day delivery fee that I didn’t even see until I’d checked out- it’s so far 3 days since I ordered, no sign of then. Feel completely mugged off

Top quality and ethical

Ordered a gorgeous coat, it arrived quickly. Really loved the packaging, felt like a gift! All recyclable. Great quality coat that I haven’t stopped wearing.
Love that it’s a small business with good quality and ethos.

Consistently great

Consistently great, fresh, mindful, healthy food. No stodgy fillers, always fresh, ethical packing. A company that I hope never, ever sells out. Despite its growth in the pandemic it has kept its customers happy and kept its morals. Can’t recommend highly enough

The best by far

I’ve been using Mindful Chef since November having tried all the competitors. Mindful Chef is by far the best for quality, health, environmental impact, taste, freshness and absolutely morals. Really admire what you guys have done and hope you continue to deliver such great quality and ethos as you grow and expand. Jo
