This review reflects MobileHelp’s account handling system more than the actual monitoring service. I have had MolbileHelp since around December 2021. In May of 2024, after my cancer treatment, I decided to move to an adult independent living facility is Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of the all-encompassing services. The facility also provides a device for fall detection and emergency services free of charge. Prior to my move, I called MobileHelp requesting cancellation of their service along with the reason for the cancellation. I was told that I needed to return the equipment and also informed me that they would send a package for returning the equipment. I NEVER received the return package.
In late September, I tried to return the equipment to their Florida address, which is the only address I had. I was never informed of any move of their facilities from Florida. Needless to say, FedEx returned the package to me as being undeliverable. Luckily for me I kept the original package with the equipment inside. Most recently, I found out their new addre3ss when I received a bill from them for services I have NOT used since June 7th 2024, when I moved to Las Vegas. I am, of course returning their equipment along with the payment even though I have not used their services. Were it NOT for the financial mess precipitated by their not honoring their initial promise, my resting would had been much different.
