This review reflects MobileHelp’s account handling system more than the actual monitoring service. I have had MolbileHelp since around December 2021. In May of 2024, after my cancer treatment, I decided to move to an adult independent living facility is Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of the all-encompassing services. The facility also provides a device for fall detection and emergency services free of charge. Prior to my move, I called MobileHelp requesting cancellation of their service along with the reason for the cancellation. I was told that I needed to return the equipment and also informed me that they would send a package for returning the equipment. I NEVER received the return package.
In late September, I tried to return the equipment to their Florida address, which is the only address I had. I was never informed of any move of their facilities from Florida. Needless to say, FedEx returned the package to me as being undeliverable. Luckily for me I kept the original package with the equipment inside. Most recently, I found out their new addre3ss when I received a bill from them for services I have NOT used since June 7th 2024, when I moved to Las Vegas. I am, of course returning their equipment along with the payment even though I have not used their services. Were it NOT for the financial mess precipitated by their not honoring their initial promise, my resting would had been much different.

In June In posted a review of Frontpoint. The issue was that I was charged for an extra month because I was unable to cancel on the first of the month which fell on a Saturday when they were closed. After posting my review, I was contacted by a representative from Frontpoint who apologized and saidn my charges for July would be reversed. THAT IS A BOLDFACED LIE. It never hasppened. Subsequently, I contacted Frontpoint and the representative assured me that my charges for July would be reversed. ANOTHER BOLD FACED LIE UTTERED BY A CONGENITAL LIAR. I would advice against doing business with Frontpoint as they are unrel;aible when it comes to acount issues. There are plenty of other security system suppliers who do not play these types oif games

I acknowledge the refund From Frontpoint. This is what happens when companies employ poorly trained customer service representatives. This should NOT have happened to begin with and then refund shouls have been processed much faster.

I tried cancelling Frontpoint as I sold…

I tried cancelling Frontpoint as I sold my house, am moving and do not need home security services. First they spend an enormous amount of time trying to sell you service for your new location even when you tell them it is not needed. I could NOT cancel with 30 days notice since June 1st was a Sunday and they are not open NOR did their online link work. Not only are they charging me for the month of June but also for July. I have no intention of recommending Frontpopint to the new owner. In fact, I am encouraging them to find some other company. I will never recommend Frontpoint to anyone.

I am retracting my previous statements as I received a refund. Seniors like me who rely solely on Social Security imncome nfor living expenses have a very small margin for error that can push us into a financial crisis. whila I applaud the refund, this situation should not have ocurred in the first place. In response to the action by Frontpoint, I am updating my rating. However, this series of events warrants some form of a rating penalty. Hence my final rating.

ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A WiFi…

Bought an ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A motherboard from Newegg in November 2022. The first motherboard was inconsistent on booting up. Returned board under RMA. Second motherboard would NOT EVEN POST. Contacted ASUS. Sent back under new RMA. Received a THIRD Board. They said they tested it and it was fine. After Assembly WOULD NOT POST. Disconnected ALL components except CPU and memory. WOULD NOT POST. QLEDs cycle from white to red back to white in a never ending cycle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND buying this board. Their Warranty is NO GOOD. You have to keep sending it for REPAIR in a three week cycle.

Byram Healthcare not only provides…

Byram Healthcare not only provides terrible service, they have no qualms committing Medicare fraud. I was billed for copay for diabetic supplies I received in November of 2020. I received the bill i9n March 2021. I payed the bill in April using the bill pay system from my credit union. I received another bill for the same service and amount in May. I responded by including proof of payment. I necer heard from them again except that I received a collection notice from a collection agency for thast amount. Today I filed a complaint of Medicare Fraud with National Benefits Integrity, which handles complaints of Medicare fraud. However this goes beyond fraud. The only way I can label this effort by Byram Healthcare to collect on bills already paid EXTORTION. I do not intend to pay. I have documentation to support my contention that will pass any test.
In the past, I have advocated for people to band together to fight the abysmal state of our healthcare. Seems there is not much interest in such activity. Fair enough. Washout collective action, we will all suffer. Note the effect of Covid-19. When people appear to have a death wish, there is nothing to stop the deterioration of care. Good luck to all of you.

I have read several reviews concerning…

I have read several reviews concerning Byram Healthcare both with respect to poor quality of service and double billing as I have experienced both. In fact I am now in the process of disputing another from them from September 2020. Other suppliers are no better.

The system is rigged in favor of distributors and insurance companies. Time and again, I keep reading about negative experiences and there seems to be no end in sight. Our Healthcare system is worse than some third world countires while we pay way more.

I have found that arguing with distributors and insurance companies is a process that never ends. Remember a truism from Business - Whomsoever has the power controls the price and the quality of service and that is neither you nor your physician. It seems incredibly surprising that many diabetics especially those who are insulin dependent do not band together to form a countervailing force to challenge the distributors and insurance companies. Make life miserable for your congressman/senator. Make loud public pronouncements. Mobilize supporters. I am not a good organizer but I can provide potent arguments to help change the system.

Frontpoint Security System

We have been very pleased with Frontpoint Security. The system works exactly as we expected. The iPhone app for controlling the system is awesome. We even have name for the voice message that comes on when we open a door or walk by the motion sensor before we deactivate the entry alarm when at home - we call her "Ruby". We love our system and would recommend it to any one.

If I had my choice I would choose some other delivery

If I had my choice, they would get a minus 10. They are worse then orangutans. I ordered some medical supplies that were to be sent overnight. NO DELIVERY. On two other occasions they said they delivered but DID NOT. Their customer service is worse than their delivery. If you ever order anything and OnTrac is the delivery option, be willing to pay and ask for a different delivery method. Suppliers who pay shipping choose them because they are cheap. That is all they are. Maybe somebody should sue them for not delivering critical healthcare equipment on time. If we ALL boycott OnTrac, they will go out of business. It has to be a concerted and mass effort.

I just placed an order with Costco to…

I just placed an order with Costco to save time and trouble during this Covid-19 problem. My total for the items I ordered went from around $102 to my bank being charged $120. After speaking with a rep from Instacart, I was assured that I was only going to be charged that original amount. I was given some nonsense explanation as to the reason for the higher charge - In case I want to add more items. BULL. If I do not get the extra charges reversed, I plan to speak with someone at Costco and lodge a formal complaint besides lodging a complaint with the state. This is fraud and I am unwilling to accept this. LAST time I order on-line from Costco and especially Instacart.
