We had an issue in Oct 2023 with an charge, I thought this was resolved as we have an email from customer service in Oct 2023 when I reached out saying as a courtesy they will adjust the $279.92 in dispute. Three months later, Jan 2024, I receive a letter that our account is in bad standing for this amount and that we need to pay. I reach out and showed proof that this was waived. The collection team of Avis told me to call customer service as they can on see this and we need to work with customer service to fix the issue. What issue, I'm told my customer service there is no issue. Even in Jan 2024 when I called. Not sure what I am supposed to do and getting no resolution. I will avoid this company, and suggest others do as well!!! Why can't the collection side of Avis speak with the customer service side and resolve this? Customer service tells me there is no balance and all is fine.
