I become increasingly frustrated at the lack of understanding of how the energy between people that is exchanged face to face MATTERS. So I decided to take matters (and mattresses) into my own hands! I visited Mattressnextday in Whitstable in order to experience face to face contact with the staff, try out the beds and choose a mattress. From the start of my experience I was a happy bunny. I dealt with Kevin, who was nothing short of professional, friendly and patient in my hunt for the perfect mattress. From that point on, everything happened to schedule without a single problem. And it is the same with their Customer Service on the phone. One day I hope to live in a world where companies put customer service above and beyond their profits. Then my joy - which I seek not just for myself, but for the greatest number of people - will be complete. Thank you Mattressnextday, for taking 'the road less travelled'.

My family's experience could not have been bettered by the team at Ashton Maxwells in Streatham High Road. We are a very large family, and the suddenness of our loss was very traumatic for us all.
The team, headed up by Sandy and Steph, did everything in their power to make the preparations go smoothly and effortlessly from day one.
Sandy is a consummate professional in the way she navigates between the necessary practicalities and the empathy required in any emotionally difficult or traumatic event. Her ability to steer the ship and handle groups of people is astonishing. Without her experience, guidance and attention to detail (personally and professionally), we would have struggled in many ways to get through this.
Stephanie's warmth and caring presence, and the manner in which she and her team handled the funeral and the subsequent burial were exemplary. We felt truly respected and cared for, and their presence and guidance was never an intrusion, but a welcome addition to the quiet support we needed in our time of grief.
In these difficult times, may those who pay attention to the Big News that is presented and paraded continually before us, perhaps take a moment to see the grass roots beneath their feet, caring, working, paying attention to the little things that matter, and that make all the difference to making others' lives run smoothly.
Our love and best go to these amazing women and their wonderful team for all they did for us.
