Disappointing new batch

EDIT and UPDATE 18.9.25:

Very quick return of communication from Nurifi confirmed that the MFG and BB date were in US format - so month and day the other way around to UK format - labels are being amended.

With regards to quantity of previous tubs - the density of cacao may differ but previous versions of cacao are 1kg in the tub

Flavour comments - the new batch is lighter in colour and different in taste as it is completely unroasted - Nurifi have taken on board customer feedback and reviews and are working on a more palatable source of cacao to be introduced soon.

I regularly buy the raw cacao powder from Nurifi and up until now have been very satisfied with the product. However, I have just opened a batch in the new packaging to find it is significantly different. I know that plant sources can vary but this one is very light in colour and quite frankly does not taste very nice. I am questioning the quality and composition of this batch, it is certainly not to the standard I have previously received. Details of this batch are:

Having just looked at the MFG date on the back ( I assume this is short for manufacturing date?) This is after the date I purchased and received the cacao. I ordered around the 12.8.25 - this was the date my bank account was debited. I have not placed an order since. This is concerning as it is not accurate.

Another issue is the new packaging is large and gives a greater volume than the previous tubs held. I know this because I tried to empty the cacao from the new seal pouch into the tub from a previous order - to find a significant amount left in the pouch that does not fit in the tub. This tells me that the tub I had been buying previously of 1KG does not actually hold 1KG. I weighed the tub I had decanted cacao from the pouch into and it holds around 900g - definitely not the 1KG I thought I was buying previously. Quite concerning about the product, when it was actually manufactured, if it is what it is supposed to be and also honesty around quantity sold previously. I have questioned Nurifi direct and await a response but I will be finding another source from now on.

Don't bother with Printerval

I am only giving 1 star as I can't review with no stars. Second time ordering with Printerval (should have learned first time) both times received poor quality goods after an extensive wait. Customer services very slow and unhelpful . I had to fight for my first refund and then this time round they only partly refunded me and I am still chasing the remainder. would not recommend this company. There are some excellent small businesses offering printing on ebay (such as Starheatpress) which do not have the same hassles associated with printerval.

Somehow (despite numerous emails requesting it) they do not understand I want my money back - all of it - not another set of poor quality goods with 'free delivery', nor a discount so I can buy more low quality goods. I still stand by my comments of - do not bother with this company. I am also still chasing my full refund - over 2 months after order was received.

Good service
