Pet tracer saved our cats life!

Our cat went missing after midnight. Although we were getting sporadic GPS signals, it appeared that she was in a secured council depot and it was inaccessible.

I had made a big mistake: I got a new iPhone and didn’t realise that I would have to configure it for the mobile radio tracker. James to the rescue. He spent hours chatting through email and finally got the radio tracker working in mobile mode. Although the GPS gave me her last position, the radio mode gave me the confidence to break into the depot grounds and locate our girl. She had been attacked and savaged by an animal and was in hiding.

Our vet operated on her that night and without the tracker, it is very likely that she would not have survived the night.

Pet Tracer was worth every penny just for this one instance - GPS alone would not have worked.

I would also like to give a special shout out to James. Not only did he get me up and working, but he also asked me to put the spare collar into live mode and wear it, so that he could track me live in relation to the other collar. He brought a whole new meaning to the children’s game, “blind man’s bluff”. He is a kitty superhero!

Treated as a human being - not a commodity

As with many things these days, trying to identify the best product to benefits ratio is very much a gamble. This is where the service provided by people makes a difference for me. The communications I had with Flood assist were all positive and solution focussed, rather than problem focussed.

At the end of the day, it is about who I feel I can trust. The experience I had left me trusting that they were not just focussed on getting my money, but were also trying to really help me identify the product that was best suited for my circumstances. Feeling like I am treated like a human being, rather than a commodity in this day and age is becoming rarer and so flood assist gets my thumbs up for Being Human Kind.

Saga are great at making it easy to…

Saga are great at making it easy to deal with things and get them sorted.

BUT BEWARE!

They gave me an insurance renewal premium that was £120 more expensive than I could find on confused.com

In case you are wondering whether I got a cheaper premium by getting less for my money, I got like for like.

Not only did I get like for like, I got Saga for Saga. Yes you’re read correctly- I got £120 cheaper insurance just by going through confused.com for exactly the same insurance that was quoted me on my renewal premium!!

I am sick of being ripped off by being loyal!
