STAY AWAY FROM USING VRBO - FRAUDSTER HOSTS!!!

STAY AWAY!!! Booked through Expedia then payment transferred to Vrbo. Major issues with the host who would not respond to queries, requests or amendments which was very suspect and became a concern the closer we got to the date of the holiday. Expedia don't get involved and Vrbo don't have a complaints process so there is no accountability or interest for them to make things right for us as the customer. For our own protection and peace of mind, one Vrbo customer service rep acknowledged the hosts unresponsiveness as suspicious whilst the rest didn't care! We cancelled the booking with Vrbo and went to a reputable company we often use whenever I travel. We paid a little more, which Vrbo refused to compensate us for and the supervisors interpersonal skills were shocking, so it's probably intentional why Vrbo do not have a complaints policy!!!!! Stay Away from using them. What's on the website is not always accurate and possibly a scam! Stay away from Vrbo / Expedia

Fruugo's Great Customer Service when I had an issue with the Seller

Really happy with the customer service from Fruugo. Made a purchase a few weeks ago and it turned out to be deliberately misleading advertising by the seller who is based in Hong Kong. I wrote a review of my experience on here, to warn other potential buyers which was similar to others experiences and Fruugo agent 'Ellie' responded promptly, agreed to investigate and within a few days issued me with a full refund and asked me to keep hold of the item for 30 days in case the seller would like me to return it to them. I really dislike these scam artists out there as they give genuine sellers a bad name, but I'm really appreciative of Customer Service agent Ellie's professional and efficient service. It's restored my confidence in using this website again in the future as I'd never heard of Fruugo before.

Purposeful misleading advertising

Purposeful misleading advertising: similar to the other comments, the same happened to me. Items ordered from 'Haikoushijilongkejiyouxiangongsi'
as per the description below and accompanied by a photo of the mirror you Think you are purchasing with lights: "Hollywood Mirror Usb Makeup Lights Lighted Bulbs 3 Colors Modes, Touch Control, Usb Charging Port 2023 2024 New 2023 2024 New" however, when the package arrived it was a tiny box containing lights only.
Also the description at the end of the delivery email stated "lights only" yet this wasn't noted in the description at selection. I haven't bothered to return the item due to the experiences others have shared on here, with the return postal costs being high because they're in China and then people still not receiving a refund!!

On this website 1st try checking out the seller before even considering making a purchase. STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE THOUGH!!! I certainly will be!!

Very poor experience

Very poor experience. Ordered 2 items and specified a different delivery address to my invoice address. But when the confirmation email came through they'd changed this and made the delivery address the same as the invoice address....

I emailed then straight away so it could be rectified before the order was processed, then followed up with a phone call the next day when the buddies had re-opened.

Not only had they ignored the email I'd sent the night before but my order had been prepared for despatch. She agreed to stop it from leaving their warehouse and agreed to call me back in 10mins. The call never came and when I tried on numerous occasions to call them they continually refused to answer the call but put disconnected me! So I sent another email.

If I don't get a satisfactory resolution I will be contacting my bank for them to recoup the monies on my behalf.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY;
I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN!!!

Delivery process is very protracted

Delivery took a long time to arrive, and also arrived much later than the expected timeframe given. Also don't receive delivery updates directly to your phone or email; instead you have to go online to check the delivery status.
