Been totally ripped off. I agreed to a fee of £400 for my car. A man picked it up and gave me a 4 page leaflet. I didnt bother reading it because as far as i was concerned it was being scrapped. I was told the money will be in my account within 48 hours. 8 days later i finally contact scrap my car to be told a company called nationwide scrap are only offering £150 or i can come and collect the car from Basingstoke (im in essex). Baring in mind i had already submitted the log book online so i didnt even own the car at that point. My advice to other people is be very careful if the pick up driver gives you a leaflet because you wont end up with what you agreed. Disgusted!!!

Update:
After being told they wouldnt be able to sell the car on because they say the engine had a hole in it and the catalytic converter was apparentley the wrong one, ive checked on the vehicle smart app and it has a brand new MOT on it less than a week later. I was using the car up until the day before they came to collect it. You choose to scrap your car through a site called Scrap my car comparison, agree a price and then once they’ve got it and you surrender the log book they offer you a silly price knowing full well there is nothing you can do about it. How do they get away with it? Its blatant robbery!!

Really pleased with our service. Chris has been very helpful sorting our flights to Australia. Absolutely no complaints so far 👍👍
