An incredible organisation

Help4addiction are an incredible organisation. We turned to them for help with a close relative who had serious addiction problems with benzos and alcohol. Charlene Grant in particular was calm, kind, reassuring, understanding and non-judgmental, helping us to work out the best way forward and how to address the subject with our relative. 12 months on, thanks to her and Help4addiction, we have this lovely person back in our lives and living a fulfilling and happy life. They even call us from time to time to check we're all ok. I cannot express how grateful we are to Charlene and to Help4addiction. Remember - help is out there, and these people are angels when you most need them.

I'm honoured to be a part of your relatives recovery journey and to offer my guidance and support where ever it's been needed. Being a recovering addict myself, I can relate to the situation many find themselves in today. I understand the hold that addiction has over a person and the impact it has on those loved ones of the individual too. I'm in a privileged position to witness the growth of your relative in recovery. Should it be necessary, I will continue to stay in contact in future for regular progress updates and to offer any support going forwards. It's such a joy to hear how well they are doing now and for you all, thank you for sharing. Best wishes, Charlene

Review of London Gatwick Airport

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Exploitative, unfair and disingenuous

Exploitative and unfair
Received a fine for dropping my son at the airport in late December. Was in the 'zone' for 1 minute 45 seconds apparently - and just received the £100 charge (not a fine since NCP have no authority to fine - and so, so generously reduced to £15 if paid straightaway). The cynical 'offer' to drop the charge to £15 is an indication not of their generosity but of what they have figured as the amount they can probably get away with, without too much protest.
The notice refers to 'clear signage in and around the zone'. Not true - any signage is deliberately unclear to maximise their income.
Gatwick was already a ghastly airport, with a rock bottom standard of user experience. They have decided, for some reason clear only unto themselves and their 'partners in crime', NCP, to make that user experience even worse.

Absolutely outstanding service

Absolutely outstanding service. Call answered promptly - was told patrol would be with me within 90 minutes. Actually arrived in 25 minutes. Gave me a clear rapid analysis of the fault, kept me informed and rectified it rapidly. Could not ask for more. Chris (the patrol man) was excellent and a true ambassador for the RAC brand. Thank you to him and to all involved.

Review of Community Fibre

Outstanding customer service

Rather oddly, I am writing this review as someone who has not become a Community Fibre customer. We ordered the broadband service for a flat in London - it didn’t happen. The experience could have been A customer service disaster, except for the way issues were handled. Our initial install visit did not get booked onto the system properly, and so did not happen when it was due. When I called, I spoke with Simone Eassom, who could not have been more helpful and professional - rescheduled the visit and made sure I was fully aware of the situation. When the install team did arrive, it became clear that physically, the fibre location outside the flat meant that a long length of cable and some drilling would have been necessary in order to locate the router where we needed it. We couldn’t do this in a newly decorated flat. I spoke with Simone again to explain the position - and once more, she was able to quickly understand the issue and ensured that cancelling the service (which we did reluctantly) was as painless as possible.
So I guess my summary is: Community Fibre look like they provide a great service for the price, but what sets them apart is the standard of their customer service.. Simone is an excellent ambassador for the business.

Review of TopCV

A money-extraction scheme - AVOID!

Avoid this so-called service at all costs. The premise is simple - tell you your CV is sub-standard and will get rejected by selection algorithms; offer to improve it to the point of ‘irresistibility’; charge up to 219 pounds (c$273) for a bot to send you back re-arranged garbage and then run off with the money. Read the numerous reviews from those who have been unfortunate enough to fall foul of this 'service'. I wrote a previous review using a four letter word beginning with 's' and ending with 'm' which Trustpilot rejected because the TopCV.com had objected to it as 'defamatory'. I am happy to withdraw that word and leave you to read the reviews and draw your own conclusion.
I would also treat the multiple (similarly mis-spelled and grammatically questionable) 5 star reviews with EXTREME suspicion.
