The selection of books, the honest condition selections and the prices are why I keep coming back. Shipping is fast too! I've had to contact customer support once and the response was outstandingly quick and helpful. 100/10 will continue to shop Thriftbooks

The following is the exact review I emailed Nurse Babe that they will never show: "I got the Pro in bright green, because of the sizing being on the smaller side, I got a size 11. They fit well. These are so quiet when I walk, but they are NOT non-skid. The design concept is good but I still have sore legs and feet at the end of my shift. Also, the company may be US owned and operated with the shoes being designed in California, per the website, but they're manufactured overseas, I'm guessing China, where my shoes shipped from. 5 out of 10. I won't be buying again."
1st red flag: on the website, they tout "US owned and operated"- they never say manufactured in the US.
2nd red flag: the nurses pictured on the website don't appear to be wearing Nurse Babe brand shoes.
3rd red flag: I had to Google for reviews, not just video reviews (failed to do this before purchase - 100% on me).
Final red flag (after purchase): no contact asking for a review; I had to reach out to them.
Update 8/29/25: the company has reached out asking for more information such as a reference number. I hope they meant order number because that's all I have.

The best "new age"/"metaphysical" shop in Terre Haute, Indiana! My "go-to" for years! Now, they offer online shopping (I think it's a $10 minimum order requirement) which is great because I'm not close to their brick and mortar store anymore. With COVID, they follow CDC guidelines and require masks for indoor shopping (currently discontinued because of Omicron) but, if you're local, you can place a phone order to pick up. The owners are very kind, and knowledgeable. Best shop!

The only site I found a "rare", out of print book on that didn't want an arm and a leg. Great variety of books from many genres at reasonable prices, from "new" to "acceptable" and "collectable" to "mass market paperback". Site's easy to use and read and ordering is easy. My "go-to" for books.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago but never recieved a shipment confirmation so I sent an email today. They responded not even 2 hours later! Not only did Yolanda explain that one of my books was out of stock and I'd been refunded for it but that my other book had been delivered! THAT is customer service!! I will DEFINITELY buy from them again!!

I LOVE Thriftbooks.com! It's a book/bargain lovers dream! Absolutely amazing what books they have. Recommend 110%!!!!!
