Bad Customer Service
On Wednesday the 22/01/2025 I order and paid for in full for tiles. At the time of ordering I was advised that it would be 2 weeks before they would arrive into Cairns.
On Tuesday the 04/02/2025 at approximately 12.30pm I was passing the store and decided to drop in and see if the tiles had arrived or if they had been held up due to flooding, as my tiler was wanting to schedule me in. The lady who I spoke with was the Store Manager Carmen Ferreira who said that the tiles had left the warehouse but she couldn't advises as to their whereabouts or what day they left the warehouse as there was no consignment note number. She didn't seem the least bit interested in assisting me any further and said " Maybe I should check again next week, but not to expect to much as tiles where a low priority when it comes to freight"
After thinking about it I thought it strange that the order had left the warehouse without any documentation. The following morning Wednesday 05/02/2025 at 7.44am I rang your Rochedale number 3373 6250 and spoke with a man named Trent who advised that my order had not been picked yet, so it had not left the warehouse. I went back into the Manunda store and inquired as to the whereabouts and was informed by the Assistant Manager Brenda that they had left the warehouse and that the warehouse staff have no idea what they are doing. When I asked as to where the tiles where I was advised by Brenda that they where on a train stuck at Mackay. I wondered how would she know this without even checking the computer, or that less than 20 hours earlier the store manager advised me that there's no paper work for this order leaving the warehouse. I asked for and received a full refund and went to another tile company ordered, paid for in full and collected all in the space of 1/2 hour.
