I stay away from fine Wine

I stay away from fine Wine. Not interested. I have invested in Whiskey. I'm not sure why all the negativity.
The company tells you when you invest that it could take several years for any kind of return to develop.
My portfolio is up 12.3 % . I add small amounts monthly in cash to it. My goal was a couple casks a year. Get them rotating on a 5-7 year basis where I'd get a return yearly after 5 years
I never expect any return for 5-7 years.

As a matter of fact this investment may never be cashed out. I want to leave it to my trust for the family.

If you need the money or can't afford to have it tied up then by all means stay away.
I've had a good experience so far. I understood from the start there would be a storage fee.

The platform is easy to use. We will see if it comes time for a return it's for real.
So far so good.

I recently made G&S my IRA dealer and have been buying from them for 7 years now. Very reliable company. Have always delivered what I have asked for with no problems. They have been trustworthy in all areas I have used them. I have bought from other dealers but always end up coming back to G&S. I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

I ordered the PTX pro irons after three years of searching for the right combination of irons. I had my last set 23 years. However, aging has played a factor in my swing speed and the graphite shaft option was the direction I needed. At a 3.4 index, I'm still hanging on to good golf but it's not getting easier.
I demoed these clubs back in the summer, along with many others but the feel of these stuck with me and I kept coming back to that.
They are what I expected and I'm committed to using these clubs for most likely the rest of my golfing life. I do not like changing equipment so this was a big deal for me.

Great clubs, Excellent price and well worth the time of day to give them a try.
As long as they stay lean and create a culture of excellence they will be a very viable option for any golfer.

Very quick and easy on the demo products. Received them within five days of ordering.
PTX pro irons are some of the most solid feeling irons I have ever hit.
I play mizunos blades now and these blow them away.
I think I have found my next set!!

My view of the golf industry as a…

My view of the golf industry as a whole. I believe clubs, in general, have reached their peak. There really isn't much more you can do with an iron, that hasn't been tried. Most of it is designed to keep the money machine going. They made long irons almost impossible to hit for the average player. Tweaking the lofts and making the shaft longer have made it to difficult for a basic club player to use these clubs. That brought in the whole Hybrid industry.

I used the demo program from Hogan to try out the irons. I believe I tried the new version of the Apex iron. Solid club. They make a good product. Since I am older now I tried the lightweight senior shaft regular flex. I hit them decently. They felt good and I produced a solid ball flight.
I really didn't find them to be all that much different than my Callaway Razor irons that I have used for the past seven years.
Bringing me back to my point. I'm not sure any iron is all that much different than the other. The shaft makes more of a difference than the actual iron. If you look down at the iron it has to look good to your eye. Hogans do.

Clubs make a smaller difference in my opinion. Improving your golf swing is a much bigger factor than the club. Local players are more fascinated with distance than accuracy. I don't want to hit my 9 iron 170 yards. I want to hit it 135 every time.
My driver was always an issue with keeping it in the fairway. Since I began to choke up on it, making a 45.5-inch shaft 44 I have become much better with it and I didn't lose any distance but gained accuracy.
I want to hit every club in my bag at a certain distance. That's it. I want a 10-yard difference between clubs.

Hogans, in my opinion, can deliver that. So can other clubs. If you are in the market for new irons this is one to check out. They are made well and at a good price. They perform well and like I said, at a very reasonable price.
I'm a six handicap and been playing golf for 40 years. I'm 55 now. I'd be scratch if I improved my short game and putting.

I'm more partial to the older equipment because I believe they were easier to hit because of the length of the shaft. A three iron from my set that was made in the '80s is so much easier to hit than the ones now. The difference is the shaft is shorter.

Good company, Good price and they allow you to vary the length of the shaft. Because they are handmade. Not cookie cutter. Go get fitted and then order the Hogans based on that fitting. You can't do yourself harm with them.
