DONT BUY HOZELOCK! RUBBISH PRODUCTS AND SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
1. Bought an expensive auto-retract 30m Hozelock garden hose/reel house - it does not retract fully (spring inside is not strong enough to retract the hose fully), so the hose partially hangs out of the reel housing. Not great considering the price paid.
2. Got their top of the range hose gun. Worked well for a week or so, then would not shutoff when the trigger was released, water spraying everywhere...
3. Having bought the hose gun through Amazon, I requested a refund/replacement and was told by Amazon to contact Hozelock directly, as that was the best option for a replacement. Went to the Hozelock website as directed, AI took over the website chat. I was told to contact Amazon as they were the retailer (in effect a 'Go away customer, we now have your money, we not interested in helping you about our defective products loop' - Bravo!). The Hozelock AI bot was not interested in me, just a "Go to Amazon as you bought it from them", no recognition that it is a Hozelock product and their responsibility and that Amazon are only a conduit to market. Even asked the AI to get the Head of Client Relationships / Satisfaction to email me so I could talk to a real person to resolve the problem, but was told "I can't answer that question, sorry you feel that way, would you like me to help you with anything else?".
I'm now left with a rubbish Hozelock garden hose that does not work as advertised, a Hozelock malfunctioning hose gun, Amazon telling me to contact Hozelock, Hozelock AI customer service telling me to contact Amazon!
Seriously, buy another brand... You will be better off, by miles.
God knows the hassle I would have to go through to return the non-fully functioning 30m Hozelock hose reel bought at B&Q.
...I can just hear Hozelock laughing that I fell for their marketing and substandard overpriced products.
