DONT BUY HOZELOCK! RUBBISH PRODUCTS AND SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

1. Bought an expensive auto-retract 30m Hozelock garden hose/reel house - it does not retract fully (spring inside is not strong enough to retract the hose fully), so the hose partially hangs out of the reel housing. Not great considering the price paid.
2. Got their top of the range hose gun. Worked well for a week or so, then would not shutoff when the trigger was released, water spraying everywhere...
3. Having bought the hose gun through Amazon, I requested a refund/replacement and was told by Amazon to contact Hozelock directly, as that was the best option for a replacement. Went to the Hozelock website as directed, AI took over the website chat. I was told to contact Amazon as they were the retailer (in effect a 'Go away customer, we now have your money, we not interested in helping you about our defective products loop' - Bravo!). The Hozelock AI bot was not interested in me, just a "Go to Amazon as you bought it from them", no recognition that it is a Hozelock product and their responsibility and that Amazon are only a conduit to market. Even asked the AI to get the Head of Client Relationships / Satisfaction to email me so I could talk to a real person to resolve the problem, but was told "I can't answer that question, sorry you feel that way, would you like me to help you with anything else?".

I'm now left with a rubbish Hozelock garden hose that does not work as advertised, a Hozelock malfunctioning hose gun, Amazon telling me to contact Hozelock, Hozelock AI customer service telling me to contact Amazon!

Seriously, buy another brand... You will be better off, by miles.

God knows the hassle I would have to go through to return the non-fully functioning 30m Hozelock hose reel bought at B&Q.

...I can just hear Hozelock laughing that I fell for their marketing and substandard overpriced products.

From what you have described, the product will need replacing by the retailer for which we can only apologise for.

The first year of the guarantee is held with the retailer. We advise that you contact them so that they can arrange a replacement for you.

As you purchased it through Amazon, your online account may say that the returns window is now closed or their online support may refer you back to Hozelock for advice. However, if you call their Customer Services on 0800 279 7234 and press option "3" to speak to an advisor, they will be able to arrange a replacement for you.

Having paid £2.99 for a review of my CV, I got what can only be an AI written review that was of no real use or any help - well... for that amount, what did I expect?

The real scam of this company is enrolling you into premium membership without making it clear and what the costs are (£59 a month) or that you are being enrolled when you use the CV reviewing service, I never saw anything that made it clear I was signing up to the expensive service, not did I see an email confirming what I was signing up to.

Today, a month later - they tried to take the £59 from my bank, luckily it is an account that I keep very low funds in. Naturally their request bounced. However, within an hour or so, they tried again and took £14.75, leaving me with less than a £1 in the account. They never contacted me beforehand about it - just took what they could get.

I have had to contact my bank to stop any further amounts being taken and reported it as fraud as I never gave permission to take any money knowingly, let alone a smaller amount.

Trying to close my account with jobleads was not straight forward, the process was hidden in the 'terms of use/conditions' as to what I had to do (had to find the link), I had to write an email to them stating I wanted my account closed. They were trying to make it time consuming and cumbersome to close the account. There is no telephone number that I could find to contact them, only an AI generative chatbot, who having contacted the company via it just stated that someone would get back to me (did they hell!). I've written to the Co-Founder & Managing Director, JAN HENDRIK VON AHLEN as well asking for my funds to be returned - I doubt I will hear from him or jobleads.

AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

Sorry - only 3 stars

Hi - good website, but would have liked to be able to manipulate the uploaded images more than what is on offer by the Moonpig website.

That aside, Moonpig and I were let down by Royal Mail failing to deliver in 24hrs hence missing the card arriving on time for the birthday. Couldn’t Moonpig find a better third party to deliver that is more reliable?

Quick dispatch, good customer service, poor carrier

Item dispatched swiftly and good helpful communication with their customer service.

Unfortunately Sabina are let down by their carrier SEUR. Item took 10 days to arrive. SEUR’s website is in very poor English, updates do not make sense. Once the item was in the UK, DPD delivered it very quickly.

I would use Sabina again and recommend them, just don’t expect your item to be delivered soon. I hope Sabina use another carrier in the future. Would have given 5 stars, but for their poor carrier service.

Great products and customer services

Great products and features and an excellent customer service. Getting through to a real person quickly and they were able to talk me through how to resolve the issue I was having and they gave me good tips about my site generally. Highly recommended.
