Skepticism vanquished

I admit that I was skeptical of the Earn Haus survey site at first. However, it has been a very pleasant surprise. I do wish I qualified for more surveys but that's the only drawback for me. The redeeming process is the easiest and fastest I've seen yet. The staff is professional and respond quickly to any questions or concerns. Thank you Earn Haus!

This is an update to a previous review…

This is an update to a previous review of Toluna. In summary, I had requested a $25 Amazon gift card on Aug 23, 2024. After two weeks I was abruptly told the transaction had been cancelled and my points credited back to my account. No explanation given at all. I then requested to cash out my points for cash to PayPal. It was around that time that my password stopped working. Toluna first gave me the runaround with "clear your cache, refresh, etc." Then they stated I had acted fraudulently and they were keeping the money. Really? To top things off, out of the blue Sept 19th I get an email from Toluna saying the transaction had been cancelled again but the points were credited back to my account and they "hope to see you soon." I'm not sure what they're responding to now because I see them for the scam they are and have not wasted my time with them. It does sadden me though because I took their surveys for about 2 years and thought they had integrity.

Tellwut is really a 6 star survey site but the format here is only for 5 stars.

Tellwut is a legitimate survey site with integrity. I visit the site multiple times daily taking surveys and rarely have problems. Their support team is dedicated and quick to respond to any question or issue that needs addressing. I like the external surveys but my favorites are the member created surveys. It gives one the opportunity to be creative as well as keep informed of events or knowledge shared by other members' surveys and collect points. Tellwut has a variety of rewards that can be earned by collecting points including PayPal, Walmart, etc. This comes in very handy for a senior on a fixed income.

Toluna started as a great survey…

Toluna started as a great survey company. I've been a member for the last three years and previously gave them good reviews. After the first year, the company tried a "new, improved" platform that literally took all the life out of the site. No more member polls, exciting forums, or stimulating member interaction. Many members left at that time. I stayed because the surveys were still decent. Two weeks ago, I had requested a $25 Amazon eCard. Last week, I abruptly got an email from Toluna saying the transaction was cancelled... no explanation given. So I redeemed my points instead for $30 to PayPal. Two days ago, I couldn't log in. First, Toluna told me to clear my cache or refresh the page. When that didn't work, they told me to click"forgot my password" and they would send instructions to reset my password. They sent nothing. I emailed them again and got hit with an email that said they had noticed an activity that was not in line with their terms and conditions, they were going to suspend my account and keep my payment. WOW! What a sham! I told them to just terminate my account and if they need the money bad enough to lie about, just KEEP IT. Please be aware this company is not what it used to be and is going downhill fast! You can also see their horrible reviews on Better Business Bureau website.

I'm giving an update to the response from Toluna. I emailed them as requested and received a response from Carrie at Toluna. She again gave the vague reason for withholding payment as "not in compliance with terms and conditions." Oddly enough, when I first requested the $25 eCard the status showed pending and the appropriate points were deducted. Then the transaction was cancelled abruptly BUT I received an email from Toluna saying the points were credited back to my account. Hardly sounds like someone who is violating their terms and conditions. It was only when I tried to redeem my points again that my account was frozen. I couldn't login and the company sent two emails instructing me to reset my password before they finally admitted they weren't going to pay.

Toluna is a blessing.

I love Toluna first and foremost because they're a legitimate company and compensate people for taking surveys. As a senior citizen with expensive meds, this is very helpful. Toluna has a wide variety of surveys to choose from and quick, efficient customer service. What's not to like?

Too bad there's no option for "no…

Too bad there's no option for "no star." Bought a barbecue grill from Walmart and paid extra for assembly from Angie's. On the appointed day, I waited and waited well past the 1:00 appointment time. Finally called their customer service number and shortly afterwards got a call from the "pro" saying she was running late but would arrive shortly. Whatever happened to common courtesy whereas the customer is informed of delays without having to call the company to see what's going on? I canceled the appointment at 2:15 when I had neither seen or heard from her again.

Rescheduled the appointment for another day and different "pro." Another no-show! I haven't had dealings with Angie before but I thought they were better than this. I ended up just requesting a refund.

Toluna has earned their well-deserved…

Toluna has earned their well-deserved five stars in my opinion. Not only are they fully legitimate but surveyors can accumulate as many points as they'd like. A person just has to remember points expire after 12 months. That's a big difference from some of the survey sites where one has to cash out after reaching a certain amount. The Toluna games are fun too and provide another way to gather points. All in all, I've been very pleased. Sure helps me as a senior citizen to help pay for the little extras. THANK YOU TOLUNA!

Toluna is legitimate.

To date, I've not had problems with surveys or redeeming points. The whole experience has been better than I expected when I first approached them. EXCEPT for the fact that they recently "improved" their platform by getting rid of the very concepts that made Toluna unique in the first place. I, and many others, have been sorely disappointed. Other than that fact, I do recommend them as a truly legitimate survey company.
