Poor customer service

I won’t fault a company for sending a faulty item, mistakes happen but I will fault how they handle these situations.

was super excited about receiving the edit I ordered (even delayed my hair wash to wait for the delivery) only for it to turn up in a state of disrepair. INSIDE the product box (meaning it went in this way not damaged during delivery) both the shampoo and the conditioning treatment had a large slash across them (not the kind that just got knocked about In transit) meaning I opened up a box to an entire bottle of shampoo and conditioner covering everything. What did LF do? After having to prompt the customer service agent to type anything they insist they could only give me £16 partial refund. From a £50 product. Because it’s a discounted set except A) Not even enough to repurchase the damaged items. And B) I wouldn’t have purchased the set without those items even at a lower price.

They then asked me to return the order (which wasn’t an option given originally but strangely came up when I informed them I’d initiate a case via PayPal) which I did despite it being a box of goo for a replacement which instead of waiting for confirmation that I’d posted they wanted to wait for it to arrive back and go through inspection (despite providing photographic and video evidence) before they would re ship only to find out today 8 days after I ordered that it’s now a refund instead and sold out. Oh and finally having to wait an additional 3-5 days (on top of the 8 since I ordered) to actually get my money back

Shame as the products sound so exciting

Will not be using LF again unfortunately after this experience

Great customer service

I found Gourmet after my usual places all stopped selling my favourite liquid and I’m really glad I did. All my orders have arrived super fast and their customer service has been top notch. I received a phone call to notify me of an out of stock product in my order, an alternative was sorted and I received my items the next day (sorry I didn’t get the name of who called me but they were super helpful)

Customer service needs improving

EDIT** following the review Rebecca from the customer service team has reached out, has been very helpful and rectified the issue. I have amended my star rating to reflect this. Hopefully this will improve customer service going forward at the first point of contact without the months of back and forth.

Absolutely awful company. Sent a faulty board and are refusing to rectify the issue expecting me to pay for the return postage despite this putting me at a financial loss for THEIR breach of contract. Took way longer than estimated delivery and didn’t receive any updates until day of delivery. I have received NPQ boards from other companies in a better state than this one. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had read the reviews properly before purchase funny how half their positive reviews on Facebook are spam bots! absolute sham and very clear from other reviews that mine is not a unique experience.

Quick customer service

I had my first faulty item and it only took 2 WhatsApp messages and a new one was on the way, issue sorted within 10 minutes of logging the call! the adviser Stacey L was very friendly and helpful

I wouldn’t buy from the UK again

I wouldn’t buy from the UK again. The site is not clear enough that these items are shipped from the US and therefore are US sizes so I now have a defunct pair of trainers 3 sizes too small. But what concerns me more is the reading faq page: now I’m not sure on US Laws but in the UK consumer laws dictate otherwise “not responsible for lost items” “Store credit only for returns” and it’s hard not to mention the enormous custom charges.

AVOID

AVOID.
wish i had read the reviews prior to purchase. It’s a scam. No orders being fulfilled. No response to emails. Report to trading standards and open a bank dispute if you haven’t received your order.

EDIT: This company have contacted me asking to change the review because I did receive the item (after review) and “they wouldn’t want people to think they don’t deliver” so I’m sorry yes it did arrive: 48 days after the order was placed. AFTER I disputed the claim through my bank and AFTER I reported the company. So my review still stands. AVOID.

I can’t decide on my star rating and…

I can’t decide on my star rating and here’s why: I like monthly tee club as an old loot crate subscriber this became a better option for me as I preferred just t shirts. I also like that it contributes to charity and there’s usually a design I like, they are made of good quality material. However....MTC still have a lot of improvements to make, easier access to cancellations, ability to choose tee colour, ability to choose both tees when ordering more than one, delivery boxes (this is a big issue for me on their website they state it is packed small enough for a letterbox however they then changed the packaging so it doesn’t and I miss it every single time and have to rearrange delivery) overall I do love my tees coming each month and once tweaks have been made to the running of the club I would be sure to up to a five star

amazing company just a few tweaks!

I joined monthly tee club after being fed up with another similar product and I have not regretted it at all! I love that MTC benefits not only me but also charities.
I love that I am able to pick the design if I want to. The tees are of good quality material they size well and most importantly for me are consistent in quality (which is why I left loot!) you can’t argue the price either!

Here are my suggestions for a five star review:
Recently you changed shipping boxes, your FAQ says they fit through the letterbox which was true but since the change they don’t and now I mostly miss the delivery.

If you get a kaboodle (two tees) you can only pick one

And lastly tee colour, the picture is not necessarily representative of the colour of the tee only the design so it would be good to either choose a colour of tee or have one standard colour which is presented on the tee picker.

But all in all, I love you guys and your ethos and mentality when it comes to customer service.
