Very unhappy
Looking at Reviews.io you will see plenty of disgruntled customers facing similar issues to myself. I recently sent them a pristine Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. This phone has been in a case from the day it came out of it's box until the morning I sent it to ReBuy. Not only that, but it was a double sided case with protection to the front screen. The DPD driver who collected and packaged it took photos and even commented it was in perfect condition. Received an offer today from them knocking off £67, stating the screen had multiple scratches on it and the charging port was damaged? I have rejected this offer, what a waste of time. It better return in the same condition I sent it or I will take this further. Very unhappy. There is also no way to challenge this it would seem. So I will update this review once my item arrives back. So far, not good.
Update 1: Phone received today and there are now scratches on the front of the phone and the sticker (original SM code from purchase) has been removed from the back?! Not only that, but the phone arrived in a different package to the one I sent- a big box with the phone tossed in with a bit of bubble wrap loosely wrapped around it. Absolute joke. Amazed it hasn't been damaged even more during transit back to me. Instead of speaking to me about this, ReBuy have decide the best course of action is to flag my review for breaching Truspilot guidelines?! This is a legitimate review and is reflective of my experience with you. I have sent the supporting documents to Trustpilot. Disappointed and now at a loss as to what I can do to recover the cost of this additional damage. Stay well clear.
UPDATE 2: See the caring, apologetic review from ReBuy below. Not one hint of an apology. Buyers beware. What they actually did is try to block your review first by reporting it to Trustpilot, who have rightfully reinstated it as you will see by my verified status- this is a genuine order and review reflective of my poor experience with this company. You'll notice they do this on negative reviews. Trying to hide their poor customer service, rather than writing a courteous response and dealing with the issue at hand quickly.
I have since sold my phone (new scratches and all) to a much more reputable company, known for their love of music and birds and got my money the same day and a hell of a lot more than the price ReBuy were trying to swindle me with.
They clearly use higher prices to suck you in but have no intention of honouring the price unless you were to buy a brand new phone and send it to them. I hope this review prompts other sellers to do their research first and think twice over the extra £10/20 they may offer you upfront.
