Not the first time I am ordering from…

Not the first time I am ordering from Spingbridge. When I need bulk material for my garden, either soil for top dressing the lawn or multipurpose for the flowerbeds then I don't look anywhere. Soil is of great quality and a very competitive price and the service including delivery is great. Order was delivered very quickly and the driver was super helpful and friendly to position the bulk bag where I wanted it to be.

Review of Orro Bikes

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Top bike- Orror Venturi STC DI2

Have been looking for a new bike for over a year and due to the availability and other factors it was not till Feb that did the move.. After looking online at the Orro Venturi STC DI2 and looking it in flesh, I was trying a reason not to buy it... What it was offering was too good to be true.. A few minor spec issues that were actually a blessing for me were the wheels and the tyres, as I already have an expensive pair of carbon wheels with top tubeless tyres. And to avoid any misunderstandings, the fulcrum wheels are more than decent and the tyres are fine as well. That is one way to keen the price down
So I had the bike for almost 3 months and managed to ride just over 500miles/800km with two back to back long rides just this past with a combine total of 245 km
The bike is comfortable even for long rides and is amazingly fast. Its so noticeable that are high speeds you need a lot less effort. I did comparison on the same stretch of road with my previous very decent bike and the Orro Venturi, so it was not just my imagination Also, the frame not only beautiful but also super responsive when cornering. The matt black and no visible cables makes it a great looker even with the stock wheels, let alone with a better set of carbons. And last but not least, the DI2 Ultegra gears that the bike are fitted are amazing.. Going from mechanical to electronic gears is a big step. While I was sceptical about the 140 mm front disc as a lot of bikes come with 160 mm/140 mm front back, the stopping power is superb even for a heavy rider like me.
So my experience with the Orro brand and bike after 3 months of ownership and a decent number of miles I could not be happier.. Great bike at more than decent price for the specs on offer..

ps: Only moaning I have is not about the bike but the original Fulcrum RC400 that cannot be converted to QR, thus restricting my ability to swap the wheels around on my bikes as and when they are needed . But that has no reflection to the bike or Orro brand but more related to my specific requirements and limitations on the fulcrum wheels

4 weeks and 675 km later

It's 4 weeks since I got my new set of HUNT 44 Aerodynamicist Carbon Disc Wheelset replacing my stock PR2 wheel on my Giant bike... The wheels were delivered within 24h of ordering, nicely packed. Wasted no time fitting my existing tubeless tyres using the provided valves and already fitted tape. Putting the tyres on and sealing them was not a problem at all.. A bit of a challenge with the disc, but it was down to the tools I had/not had (friend to the rescue) . Wheels look great compared with the ones before but more importantly I saved over 0.5kg as the PR2 are heavy. In terms of performance, it was noticeable from the first tide. A 7.7km fast section that I have done multiple times I have managed to shave over 1 minute compared with previous best and that without even pushing hard. Since I got them I have clocked over 676 km including an audax of 220 km and I can say I am very pleased with them so far. A great balance for aero as well as climbing. I would say you appreciate them more in fast sections, where you can maintain high speed with less effort due to the aero characteristics. A bit of a challenge when there are strong side winds but nothing that will take you off balance, just need to be a bit more alert compared with lower depth wheels. Only negative/positive issue with the wheels is the hub noise... Louder than my previous set and other fellow riders but does help when I am leading pack and stop pedalling and also when I am slowing down as pedestrians and other fellow cycling can hear me. But it could have been a tat quieter. Maybe a minor upgrade for later. Overall, I could not be happier, at least for the first 4 weeks. Performance is great, so I hope durability is as good as I expect it to be

Hi Theo

Thank you taking time to write a thorough review of your Hunt 44 Aerodynamicist wheelset here on trustpilot for us.

It's fantastic to hear that they arrived rapidly and that they are helping you shave time off your personal bests.

One thing we feel is very important for tyre security is that when fitting tubeless tyres to a new set of wheels that a brand new set of tyres is used - if your tyres have been on another brand of rim previously, tolerance issues can mean that the tyre might be slightly looser on the new rims, potentially causing a safety issue. If the tyres went on your 44 rims easily and have been on another rim, we'd suggest it would be a good idea to change them at the earliest opportunity purely from a safety perspective.

The noise of the freehub is something that can be muted with a slightly more viscous grease - a very light grease is used on the pawls from the factory to ensure the wheels rotate nicely when freewheeling. I use a grease called Motorex 2000 in my hubs and they are quieter, but you need to take care to only use a light smear of the grease on the ratchet ring, putting too much grease on the pawls themselves can stop them from operating correctly.

We hope this advice will help you get lots more safe use from your wheels - anytime that you need something for them just give us a shout - we'll be delighted to help you again.

Enjoy your riding!

Best regards

Ian

Too expensive and does not value…

Too expensive and does not value existing customers. In all cases when I was called to renew/extend my contract I was given a more expensive offer than the existing package that will become even more expensive after the new contract term is completed . Please value your existing customers more and provide a discount or an incentive to the existing package in order for them to stay rather than
In terms of the service itself, I don't have any major issues. The internet service is fast and most of the time reliable and the TV channels and quality of Video both broadcast and on demand is good. Streaming 4K content is effortless however the number of 4K channels/content is limited thus relying on other supplementary services such as Amazon Prime and Disney+ as the 4K Sky Movies services add on is expensive . Telephone line is rarely been used so cannot comment how good it is, but it adds to the cost without been used .
Last but not least the Hub3 is okish but again you have to pay extra to get a WIFI Mesh network that is specific to Virgin unless you stop using it as a router and create your own ..

Very dishonest company .

Very dishonest company .. I have ordered from a specific retailer with a Saturday delivery. I was tracking the progress of this and left the retailer on time and was supposed to be delivered between 12:47 -14:47 so made sure I was home even before that time just in case. I have also started tracking the progress and was showing I was delivery 46 out 140 for the specific driver/VAN. Then at 14:25 I got an email that my deliver was going to be delayed between 14:05 - 16:05. I did not consider that a problem as delays can happen However at 14:41 I saw an update claiming that they tried to deliver and I was not in and they left a notification slip. None of them are of course true.. I live at the end of a Close with very few houses and we can see and hear most the cars that come in and out and there is no way a VAN can come without been noticed. Also at the time they claimed they came I was out watching my neighbour putting his Xmas light.... Called immaterially the YODEL customer services and was very upset. I did apologise to the agent in advance for my tone as I made it clear that it was not against them personally. First agent gave me a poor excuse with no help and when I asked to speak with a Manager she put me on hold and then disconnected me ... Called again and the agent this time was more honest and said to be it was unlikely a delivery was attempted based on the location of the delivery VAN. At the end of the day I ended up wasting a lot of time waiting when I had other things to do as well and I was lied about the reason of non delivery. There was no other option rather than going into the system and re-arranging the delivery with all the T&C that had to agree uppon... That is not how a courier company should behave. I prefer honesty rather than lies. Is better to apologise and say "sorry we cannot deliver as we intended today SIr" That is much better.... And for that reason I consider them dishonest. The behaviour and quality of Customer Service if a company is really been seen when things goes wrong and that is when the customer respect and behaviour comes first. The rating is not for the failed delivery but the dishonesty around it ...
