Poor sounding

I really like Guitar Pro, but what I found very disappointing in these latest versions is that I’m not able to, or at least I haven’t clearly seen how to, link or connect the audio tracks with drum, guitar, and bass plugins so that they sound better. The sound that comes out of Guitar Pro, for me, is very poor and unsatisfying. I would like to be able to add drum, bass, and guitar plugins to achieve more realistic and higher-quality sounds. It seems that in this Guitar Pro 8 version that is impossible. For that reason, at the moment, I can’t rate it 5 stars, only 3 stars. But if there is a way to do this, I would definitely rate it 5 stars.

Thanks for your feedback. Guitar Pro 8 includes its own RSE sound banks (about 1 GB), which are lightweight by design to keep the software fast and easy to use, whereas most pro libraries often require dozens of GB.

If you’re aiming for more realistic sounds, you can connect Guitar Pro to a DAW and use your favorite VSTi instruments. Here’s our step-by-step guide:
