Very poor 12days after making a order still nothing and not getting a response back about order or a refund

We understand your frustration with the delay in your order and the lack of communication. We are working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
I was told at the start they could get me a certain price but I realised I was more or less told that to get my hopes up and go with them the house eventually sold for £10,000 under the price I was told I also had to phone them or email them for updates 2 weeks before the hand over I was phoned at 9 o’clock at night from estate agent saying I had to update my home report before it could sell as this was the first time I’ve sold a house I didn’t no if the house didn’t sell over a certain period it would need updated I was angry that this was first time hearing this basically after a buyer was confirmed and handed over to solicitor they did not reply to emails and weren’t interested my wife also had to get 2 buses with my 1 year old to hand keys over as I was working away and she had no car when on the phone to them I told them this and they made no attempt whatsoever to offer help

Having checked our records I can see that after several viewings at your property we managed to achieve a sale for you at full home report value within a reasonably good period of time too so we’re disappointed that this did not meet your expectations. I do appreciate that the completion of your property sale perhaps took a little longer than expected this was mainly down to your buyer initially using an alternative agent, the buyer then switched to Premier Properties and we achieved a successful offer within a matter of weeks. I also note that we did make you aware as soon as we knew that the refreshment of your home report was required and explained exactly why this was necessary. Having checked our records on this I can see that this was arranged more than 4 weeks prior to your completion date but more importantly was arranged as soon as we were made aware that it was necessary. I appreciate that having to refresh the home report at any stage can be a frustration however these circumstances are out with our control and are at the liberty of buyers mortgage applications being processed within the time frame required and also other buyers properties selling within this time frame too.
We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and regular communication levels with our clients not only during the marketing process but at solicitor stage too. Again I can see from our records that not only were you were kept up to date and advice provided to you during this time but regular updates were sought by us from the acting solicitor in order to move the case forward. I do not feel that its fair comment to suggest that we weren’t interested during this time when in actual fact you’ve been updated and advised regularly on several different occasions during this period.
With regards to the handing over of your keys you were informed that that they could be handed to us prior to completion and that they could safely be posted through our Uddingston office letterbox at any time,. Alternatively, your keys could also have been handed into your solicitors office in Hamilton at any point prior to completion too. We also suggested that you have someone be at the property itself for them to be collected by the buyer from there however neither of these options were suitable to you. At no point did you ask us to collect your keys, you must appreciate that it is your responsibility to hand in your keys for your property once you have vacated.
