Good price

Good price, and quick delivery. My only irritation was I asked twice to have the soil delivered at the back of my property (once when I placed the order online, and to be sure, a second time by email, with a map a day prior). When the very helpful driver rang my Ring doorbell he wasn’t aware of this instruction. He did drop it where I asked him to though.

What business doesn’t answer their phones?!

I paid extra to have my order the next day, but it didn’t arrive until two days after.

Phones are unmanned in the afternoons so couldn’t get hold of anyone to find out where my urgent order was.

It’s a real shame but I’ll have to use a firm that doesn’t add failures and complications to our orders in future.

Edited to add: thank for your reply Shelley; when I placed the order and confirmed whether it could be next day you said ‘Yes, but the shipping will cost more’ - I paid £10 at your request for that reason.

Having said that, when the order did arrive, later than agreed and paid for, it was correct and the products were as I hoped for.

Really disappointed that you feel this warranted a 1 star review. You placed your order at 3pm Wednesday. Granted the order was not despatched that day but it was quite late in the day when you placed this.

The order was delivered to you at 1:12pm Friday.

Our phones are offline from 12:30 until 4pm, this is simply to enable us to catch up with offline activity like Emails/ordering/pro-actively contacting customers to advise of delays etc.

I'm sorry that you felt this service was not up to standard, please do not hesitate to contact me again in the future I will of course try my utmost to improve on this for future orders.

If you can suffer the wait to get your password, and get it to work, you'll get your money's worth!

So, I liked the video, and wanted something to help me fit out my van so I paid the money (including lifetime upgrades) for 'INSTANT ACCESS!'.

I got a receipt for my money INSTANTLY! but have spent the rest of the day waiting for my login password so I can log in and use what I paid for. I've even done the 'Forgotten you pasword' link 3 times, all without any kind of response, INSTANT! or otherwise.

In answer to their reply: Better! I finally managed to get into the software. It's a real shame that the first impression is this logging in problem - all it needed was a quick reply with our login details when we paid (at the same time as the receipt) and I would not have been so upset. They did get in touch and eventually I got the login to work - it's not enough to simply copy and past the password, nor check and remove the space at the end that copies with it, you have to type the password manually and it will then work.

On to the software; the downside:

My initial impression; I've had a quick play with the older version of the software and the Browser versions and they were clearly a work in progress, with much clunkiness and disappointing operability. I would have had a lot of issues trying to get a decent van design out of it I suspect, but . . . .

On the upside:

I've been able to download their new BETA version. Being a BETA it is indeed a work in progress, but it has much to commend it. It has decent quality van models (albeit the latest vans European vans from 2016 onwards aren't available yet) and the 3D environment and controls are all useable without too much working out (being a man I haven't read the manuals or watched the instructional videos yet).

There's a good little selection of equipment 3d models, as well as simple 3D shapes like tubes, boxes that you can add and resize, as well as apply different material qualities/colours to so that you can 'create' whichever furniture shapes you need.

So, first impressions were terrible from a login/purchase point of view, however, once over this hurdle, I am pleased that I stuck with it because the BETA version looks good (certainly good for the money), and it has the legs it needs to grow and mature into a very good product.

Thank you Myles for updating your review as even though we have resolved many previous reviewers issues and they have gone onto enjoy using vanspace3D and created some excellent lay outs, they have not taken the time to come back and amend.

I am really pleased that we were able to get the log in resolved and yes that is a great tip to enter manually and not copy and paste it, it avoids and sneaky spaces being added.

Would love to see the layouts that you are coming up with so please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on.

I am really sad to see this review as I can see that this was written after you had sent us an email but before giving us a chance to answer it

That is quite unusual as whilst we do strive to answer all emails within 24 hours and many times we are able to do a lot quicker, to expect us to answer within just a few hours is just not possible

We can see that you were able to log into your online account and it was the Download that you were struggling to get into . It happens ! and usually is down to a sneaky space when copying and pasting from the emails that we send containing the log in details.

You emailed us, we reset the log in, tested with success and emailed you back and if you are having any further issues just please let us know.

Could I just stress to anyone reading this the importance of allowing us time to respond to emails rather than jump to the wrong conclusion, sadly it does seem a trend to jump to a review even for something so simple.

I went on the website

I went on the website, was able to put in the measurements for the net curtains I wanted, plus give each one a name (rear window, front window etc) and shortly afterwards my packages arrived in individually named bags. They were all correct, correctly sized and the quality I paid for.

I couldn't ask for more.
