I am using it 2nd time in a row. The only drawback is a price.

I booked Europcar Automatic Hyundai Kona couple of days before pickup. It was because of promotion came to my search on booking.com. Booking was confirmed, everything was fine until we reached europcar Ansbach to pickup the car. At the pickup date, when we reached Europcar, there was no car available except only one dirty Manual Transmission, which employee started cleaning. There were no any Automatic car available within 50 KM radius. Why do you confirm something if you can't supply? It is my 2nd such experience with Europcar, while I did bookings with enterprise, SIXT I have never faced any difficulties.

Never ever use europcar, instead book 50 more euros expensive SIXT and others.

This was the worst rental experience we have ever had!

We rented a car online which was VW Tiguan or similar and we had a travel to the Czech republic.
It initially looked fine without any issue, but when we went there there was no same class car and it was replaced by BMW X3 which according to Europcar staff was not allowed to drive to the Czech republic. Based on my idea, because our travel was 2 days later, we recommended keeping x3 in Germany and when the other car is available we could change the car, the next day.
There was no Tiguan available, so they changed our car to Jeep Compass and mentioned that even if there was a Tiguan we wouldn't still be able to travel to the Czech Republic because it was not allowed either. This was a total failure of service and consumer rights - I saw it on your website - booked and it's mine - you are obliged to provide me with what I have bought! Additionally, the JEEP Compass was making a weird noise, it was not easy to drive, not have a good trunk space.

Failure and shame on you EUROPCAR!!!
