Gives companies the ability to remove neg reviews.

I like trustpilot. I usually use them to check on websites and services I come across online but don't already know of.

I enjoy reading peoples reviews and complaints to give me a better idea of what I am getting into before making a purchase.

HOWEVER, I do greatly disapprove of giving companies the ability to have a review removed because it causes them embarrassment. If I took the time to write a review in great detail and that review if clearly factually correct and genuine, I fail to understand how a company can just wave a wand and get it taken off. It erodes the credibility of the site and service it represents. It's a slippery slope.

Beware, software is spying on you, unwarranted cancelations.

Software supplied is undisclosed spyware which checks all running applications being used on YOUR PC and sends them to the owner's personal server.

Owner blocks licensing agreements paid for based on how they feel that day and which way the wind blows.

Rude and arrogant responses to genuine queries. Have just been informed that the owner has been arrested in the past for cyber crimes involving underage individuals. Checks out given his current attitude to clients.

Cannot recommend this service given past experiences. AVOID!

5G, doesn't work, slow as hell.

5G does't work even though I am in a 5G area.
Cuts out constantly, latency of 1.6 seconds.
Upload speed of 20kbps.
I would literally be better off using a dial up modem from the 90's.

Support is not able to provide a fix, and quite frankly are clueless in the most basic of technical terms.

I plan on cancelling my direct debit. Have been left with no other solution. I refuse to pay for a service which does not work.

Locked down the service with a stripped down slicer.

An overreliance of claiming parts "consumable" when they are not. And having just gone back with their 3rd party support these machines are a lot less attractive. The software bambu labs has significant issues with modern intel cpus (p/e cores). Yet they have locked down the service with a stripped down slicer that doesn't work adequately. Shows their true colours.

The worst parts of the cloud.... but on your PC!

Updates that change everything but provides nothing.
Extrusion errors gallor.

Nothing seems to work properly, using this on a daily basis is causing people depression.

Linked to the cloud for no other purpose but monetization. It would be such a more pleasant experience if this was just an offline program.

If you got this program 15 years ago it would work better than it does today.

Avoid, theft of funds, nothing works

Avoid at all costs.

Most of the backend on the exchange is a buggy mess. Money will go missing, they won't do anything but gaslight you. Bots fail to pay out. Market orders disapear after a couple of months... ect...

App is trash. Slow and a spot spread of 20%.

They have no troubles retroactively changing terms of service or staking agreements.

Will never touch anything by this company again.

Bad support function, unclear fees. Ever increasing fees.

Used to be a good service, but god have they gone downhill in the last few years. For a company thats claims no hidden fees, I'm getting a bunch of hidden fees! No mention to what they are for. No mention in their fee list. I did try asking support via chat. But support takes about 40 minutes to arrive in the chat window, and then stops working 5 minutes in. Its time to start searching for a new merchant I think.

Never picked up next day delivery service.

I am starting to think this is a pretty terrible company if you don’t have a commercial account with them. I received some items which needed to go back to a merchant. I needed it back fast as to fall under the item cooling off period. As the items were shipped with DPD originally I got them to send the items back at my own cost with a NEXT DAY service. And used a drop off center to speed things up and not worry about pick up slots.

We are reaching day 3 since I dropped off the package. The package has not been picked up.
Contacted support, and after getting the usual low effort sludge thats considered as customer communication these days (they put a “rush pickup” order which again was never picked up, i.e. just tell the customer whatever so that they go away) I asked them how they can sell a service as next day delivery and fail to even pick up the package for half a week. Their answer was the service only covers the shipment of the item, but not the actual pickup from their own drop off points. So they are more than happy to sell you a rush service, just leave it there for days on end, and in their eyes, thats totally fine and within the product that was sold. Its by far the dumbest thing I have heard all week. And is a low grade cop-out on their obligations. If this is truly DPD’s stance, thats actionable, as they are advertising and selling their service on a lie that they know they will not uphold at the time of sale.

As for the package, I am going to pick it up tomorrow myself and use a different courier company.
As for the charge, I will be asking for a full refund with my card merchant directly.
As for this service, its truly pointless. Royal mail is half the price and will actually deliver the parcel. The confirmation email took 2 full days to come through. Its a total joke with no redeeming features to their competition. Jeez, at this rate you’d probably have better luck with Evri.

09/02/2023 - Delivery window missed.
13/02/2023 - Contacted due to non-delivery. Was told it would get dispatched again. No tracking for first parcel given.
23/02/2023 - Contacted due to non-delivery. Was told it still hasn't been sent out yet. Would be sent out the next day priority.
07/02/2023 - Nothing ever received after a month. Opened case with merchant.

14 months, no internet, no contact, PATHETIC

Signed a contract with g.network at the start of May 2021. They said it would take a month to hook up. Still nothing to this day. No contact or replies from rep. Calling 0203 909 4555 or emailing customerservice just to be told to wait for my silent rep to keep me posted in insulting at best. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I will be avoiding this ISP both personally and professionally in the future. Useless from top to bottom.

Refused to honor their own warranty for faulty product

Contacted this company to have my unit serviced once it died after only 7 months light use.
The warranty claimed it was 2 years, they claimed it was only 1 even after finding a page on the website saying otherwise. But its all pretty useless as they just said no... because I bought the item from one of their resellers and not them directly....
Which:
1. shouldn't matter, and is not acceptable grounds to decline their obligations, which were made at the time of sale.
2. illegal, and a breach of consumer rights
Avoid this company. Especially as looking at other reviews , buying from them directly won't get you an item. And buying off Amazon / eBay means they can just tell you to go to hell apparently. I am now looking into a corded air duster or an air compressor to replace the e-waste their product now is.

Decent service, room for improvement.

Having been unjustly penalized by teamviewer I set about finding a decent replacement. I heard a few people recommending RealVNC. And for the price I am pretty happy. I works OK most of the time. Deals with the big three: windows, mac and linux. I like the idea of only paying per server and not accounts, and the service is fairly cheap compared to others. All in all a good offering and I will be sticking with them moving forward.
HOWEVER, it isn't perfect by any stretch. One does get disconnects where your screen freezes and you need to wait a minute for it to reconnect every now and then. Would very much like to see an improvement on this. The latency/colours isn't as good as some other services I have used in the past. And the file transfer function is slow as all hell. But it isn't too often I encounter these problems. Its an adequate service for a low price.
They also seem to have an app, but I have yet to use it so can't comment on it. But its nice to know its there.

After using Gio for a full month

I have used this service every day for a full month. For what it is worth, it’s an alright platform when it works, but that doesn't happen often enough, which makes it unacceptable for an exchange. This review is mainly about using their website, but I did also use the smart phone app which I will talk about at the end.

WEBSITE
The biggest problem I have is the connectivity issues and underlying code. About half of the time it will either not load of a page correctly, charts stop syncing, orders stall, boxes wont load… I have found myself hitting the F5 key more in the last few weeks than that key has been pressed in its entire lifetime. Don’t even get me started on Cloudflare websites popping up instead of gate.io saying there is a problem on their end. It’s a pain, its unpleasant, and its unprofessional. Saying their webpages have issues 50% of the time is being generous. Adding on to this, the website has clearly been designed for Mandarin characters first. This leads to certain functions and spacing to be either cut of misaligned. Their quantitative strategies pages are a good example. Sometimes the connectivity issues come in and the buttons fail to work or go to a working page, but when they do work you get pushed to a tinny tiny little pop up screen, looking like it was designed for a smartphone, with misaligned and cropped options where one can’t read the text. I sure would like to know what they say down there when setting up an unmonitored strategy! Then there are the little things that just make it look terrible, such as formatting errors and spelling mistakes that could have been sorted by asking ANY single European native speaker to take a look round at the UI/UX for 2 minutes. One that bugs me but has no feature breaking design is that the size options for the ticker graphs, the size names sometimes start with capitals, sometimes don’t. Its not the end of the world, but this is sort of what I mean by an unprofessional feel. It just so low effort not to check.

SUPPORT
Support is non-existent, naturally. In my time, I have opened a single ticket. As of writing this it still has not been looked at or answered to. I check in to their reddit page every now and then. Although it is active, there is never anyone from Gio that answers or helps anyone. KYC took about a day to complete, which is neither good or bad I suppose.

DEPOSIT / WITHDRAW
Placing money was easy! Cost me 0.000000000001 of my coin to move it in. Withdraw costs a minimum of 0.013 in fees of the same coin to move the same value. That’s one hell of a markup!

SOCIAL / BONUSES
I have mixed feelings about this one. There is this entire ocean of a social aspect to the platform. But you have to be lv. X to use this or that. Which all seems to involve buying their currency. Their login bonus and referral program is a neat idea. But the USDTest offer is just scummy. It seems to be designed to entice people thinking its USDT. You have to manually go to the bonus page to claim it, god forbit you forget one day! And their shared strategies are almost all just buy BTC / ETH, which makes the rather redundant.

THE ANNOYING APP
The app suffers the same issues as the website, but with the added bonus of push notifications! So same game, charts not syncing, orders not moving…. The notifications are probably one for biggest reasons I HATE the app. In notification options you have the ability to change about 15 different push notification types, but NONE of them affect those damn unwanted marketing ones. Yes Gio, please send me 7 new individual notifications on every new HODL available that morning, every morning at 7am. God I hate it. Then there are the notifications I actually want, price changes and warnings, which sometimes don’t go out. And then coming rushing in all at the same time about 3 hours later. It completely defeats the point of them. But the lack of respect for being unable to turn off marketing materials just off rubs me the wrong way. I have also started receiving marketing emails which I never signed up for.

CONCLUSION
As a miner, I wanted an exchange that could deal with lesser known coins. Gio offers this, with a massive selection. But using them was just such a pain that I am now looking for an alternative exchange to replace them for both my coin exchange needs and as a trading platform. I really did try to like them and look past their failings, but not being able to sell at a time I want, or dealing with their dying web services was just too much to handle. Their service wasn’t having a problem that day or this one, it was a constant bag of issues sometimes leaving me in a position of not being able to change or cancel an action. If something does go wrong on their platform you have literally no way of getting in contact with them. I do hope one day this will all be sorted, but I won’t be around to see it.

Sign contract & wait till the end of time.

Very disappointed with g.network. I called up following some letters I received saying they had hooked up the street with fiber. Having waiting about 6 months from the first letter I figured everything should be ready to go with placing a FTTP line. Sales guy seems to know his stuff, explains that it may take a week or two wait. I agree and sign the document. The very same day I get an email saying there is a delay and it will take a few more weeks. Now almost two months on, I still have no idea when I can expect to see any movement on my connection or when I can expect delivery of service.

My rep only answers 1/3 emails I send them. There are never any updates. Never any dates nor timeframes mentioned. I have asked to get someone round to survey the property on several occasions which has led to nothing. And before someone comes in and chimes to send them an email to customer service, as they appear to do on every negative review, I would like to say I have already done that prior to leaving this review. Which has uselessly informed me to wait for my rep to tell me whats going on. Which never happens, and was the primary reason me (and quite frankly everyone else) would contact that email address. So its just a time wasting PR stunt at this point.

So all in all this company has absolutely no qualms about keeping you on the hook for as long as they want with absolutely no information or updates. How is this a business model is beyond me. If I had signed up when I received my first letter (as some neighbours who still have nothing have done) I would still be waiting 8 months on from the original date. The fact that they can’t even be bothered to give anyone a time frame is a joke. Their comms are a joke. The entire enterprise is run by a headless chicken who has never seen a calendar. There are people complaining that they have been waiting for YEARS for their service from gnetwork. If you are thinking of joining them and are reading this, don’t bother. You can build your own ISP in less time.

Do you like being stuck behind a CGNAT, not being able to use online services?
Then Vodafone is the service for you!

How can they legally offer people internet and then stick them behind a IP4 CGNAT is beyond me. This should be banned as far as I'm concerned. If I pay for an internet connection I should have an internet connection with a contactable IP address.

Good experience, fast dispatch

Well priced items. Fast delivery. They even let me swap a couple of things around after I realized I needed more RAM. Ordering works well and they have some interesting auctions on ebay.

Shoutout to Mahad who was patient enough to let me keep changing my mind every day! Once finalized order was shipped out very next day. Server works well. Only issue I have found is whoever screwed in the backplate pci screws is a stronger man than I am. That thing is moving for no one.
