5* for customer services, both via email and telephone.
Face value the chest of draws look nice, however, it is on close inspection you see the units have been knocked together, there is no craftmanship, i.e. the bottom of the legs have several pieces of varying types of wood, the sides are ill fitted, and I have to wonder how much solid oak is actually used.
Of course, reading that the units are made in Vietnam gives me an insight on the workmanship. I can imagine that Oak World is making a very tidy profit at my expense. Lesson learnt, always ask for the country of origin.

After much consideration and searching we received the 'Earl Oak Bar Stools - Leather' from Bar Stools Co UK. On the positive side, they are well made, easy to construct and look good.
However, our reason for the low rating is we were massively disappointed after finding out they are not leather, according to their CSM they are actually a 'Faux' leather. When we were researching which Bar Stools to choose, the web search and indeed their own website wrongly declared them as leather, reading further they also called it bonded leather a term used to describe a 20-30% mix of shredded leather and polyurethane, so, summing up, beautifully made but poor advertising.
No change in rating, the product should be declared 'bonded leather' thus dispelling any possible product confusion and doubt.
