Great machine and good customer service

Before purchasing my cutting machine I sent them an email with some questions and it was properly answered in a timely manner explaining me the difference between the machines I was considering.

I bought the ACE 120 and after a few days I received it in good condition. It only was missing the chute for the tobacco to slide and the instructions manual. I wrote them an email and it did take a number of days to get answered, but they sent me the chute and attached the instruction manual with the email.

I'm giving 4 stars because of the missing chute and manual, otherwise I would have given 5.

Nice responsible shop. I'll buy again from them if I have the need.

Worst customer support and crappy product

Worst customer support and crappy product

I ordered 2 kg of Virginia Orange and another kilo of Burley. The Viriginia Orange was just desert dust while the Burley was extremely high in moisture.

I contacted them to see how we could fix this and after days of no answers I finally got an email stating the following:

"Sorry, but I see it this way: you received exactly what you ordered.
You ordered a dry variety, and that is what was delivered."

Well, in their web site they state that the moisture of virginia orange is about 12.5% and what I got was about 7 to 8%, and that is what I could test. Most of it was probably even less than that. The leaves will break into dust when you try to remove the stems. Many of them were already pure dust when they arrived.

On top of that, you can only pay by bank transfer if you don't live in Germany. They invited me to send it back but quite frankly, seeing how little they care I don't trust them to refund me my money, plus they added "so long they are in the same condition as when you received them", or in other words, you will never get your money back.

I will try to moist the leaves and use as many as possible and never, NEVER, EVER again, buy from this provider. Mainly because of the lack of care of their customers.

They looked like they could have been an ok provider, but oh well, there is always another one that bites the dust.

So long......

EDIT: I have seen other reviews about ppl that were happy before and now they lost their money. I guess they turned greedy.

Another purchase another great…

Another purchase another great experience

This is probably the only shop I dare to make a wire transfer instead of using my CC. Bought 4 Bessey clamps (TL 900 or TL 90 depending where you look) and they were delivered perfectly packaged without any issues and even before the money was transferred to them (I know it takes at least 1 day if not the same bank).

Terrible service, buy somewhere else

Terrible service, buy somewhere else

I first bought at Conrad through Bol. I had purchased a pair of safety glasses but when they arrived I could not test them because they were in a sealed package so I decided to return them. Two weeks after I had returned them I contacted Bol because I had not received my refund. Bol asked me to wait a bit longer and after another week or two I contacted them again. Conrad asked for proof of return (luckily I saved everything) so I sent them all the photos and eventually I got my money back.

This time I saw an item that had a good price so I decided to buy it. After registering and clicking on all the links you get in the email I went to checkout and the payment didn't go through. Tried a second time and again it did not work. So I decided to call my CC company and they told me they never got the payment request. So I looked for a phone number to call Conrad and there is no phone number anywhere.

I was getting suspicious so I decided to take a look at Trustpilot and saw all the negative reviews and saw the phone number at the bottom under contact info. I call the phone number and guess what, no help is available for private customers! Well if Conrad is unwilling to help its customers then I am unwilling to spend my money there.

I'm so glad the payment didn't go through. I will never again buy anything from this business, whether directly or through any other platform.

Amazing customer support and quality tools

It is an absolute pleasure buying from this shop. I had some questions about their squares and they gladly helped me over the phone. I ordered a new SawStop table saw and it arrived perfectly packaged. One item was missing from the delivery (a square) so I called and they sent it the same day. It arrived the next day and unfortunately it had some scratches, so I called them again and the person (thanks Peter) went personally through the shop, found another one in best conditions, and sent it to me.

I wish they were closer to my home so I could just drop by anytime.

They don't give a rats ass

Horrible experience with their service and customer support. Ordered some beers but it seems they run out of one of them so they just thought I put something else in the box. Told them about the "mistake" and their response is, "Well, we just didn't have that beer so we thought we put another one instead of an empty spot". What the hell????

This shop has no shame. Their reply was that I was welcome to return the order.

SUPERB Customer Service and Experience

This company should be 10 out of 5 firstly for their outstanding customer service, and the second their warranty. However, I am giving it a 4 because of the blind that broke when we were almost not using it at all.

We bought blinds for the kitchen a long time ago, nearly 8 years to be precise. One day I realized that the blinds were not standing still when I pulled them up, but instead they would just drop down. The mechanism that made them hold up was broken, and we barely used it. I spoke to customer service and sent a video and a few photos and voila, after a few weeks we got our curtain/blinds replaced with a new one.

Before that happened we purchased a couple of blinds but one of them would not properly close (it would roll to the left and get tangled with the plastic holder) and the other was delivered the other way around, meaning the string to open/close them was on the other side. Besides that, I made a mistake and had to call to change the measurements of one of the blinds before it went into production.

I was transferred to Mr. C.B. (won't say his name for privacy reasons). We talked about the measurements and he gave some really interesting advise as well. We went through some steps over the phone to make sure they were not incorrectly installed, took some photos, and a few days later a new blind was being delivered and the other one he instructed us how we could change the string around to the other side so it would fit what we ordered without the need for a new blind.

This person kept in touch, followed up, called us up, and to be honest I will never order any blind or window curtain from any other provider so long this company exists and they keep their customer service just as it is, one of the best that I have experienced in my life.

Just as I am super critical about other companies that I believe should not be in business anymore, I also believe that this company deserves all my praises. In particular I find their customer support to be outstanding... one of the best I have ever dealt with.

You have a life customer!

EDIT:

I am just reading about the negative comments and I can only add that a good customer experience is very, very important. It makes the difference between "I will never in my life shop from you again" and "you have a life long customer". Transparency and honesty also play a big role in this. Not my business so I cannot tell you how to fix it, but I am sure you can always do better, specially for those who have had a terrible experience. Just a thought.

The WORST of the WORST!!!!!!!

I have never experienced a WORST shopping experience in my entire life!!!! I wish there was a -100 stars but anyways, story begins a few months ago, to be precise in April 2023....

My mother died back in 2021 and being a guitar player my wife at one point told me "why don't you buy a nice guitar with the inheritance". I thought that was a lovely idea as it was my mother who gave me my first guitar. Little did I know about what was about to happen.

I fell in love with a Gibson SG Vintage Cherry (nearly 2.000 euro guitar) and I had two options, either Bax or Thomann. I chose Bax because of a 150 euro savings.... BAD CHOICE!!!!

The days passed, and passed, and kept on passing. I called CS numerous times, I got hanged up by them, I got told they could not do anything, until finally some 2 weeks later, utterly pissed off by their behaviour, managed to get a CS supervisor call me back.

So the CS supervisor calls and manages to get my guitar, that was supposed to get home when I could enjoy it most due to my daughter's spring holidays, arrived 2 weeks later when I had no time as I had to get back to work. On the behalf of the supervisor I do have to say he gave a 50 euro voucher, but I will get back to that later on.

So, after spending nearly 2.000 euros in the guitar I was supposed to get nearly 2.000 Bax points... well, they managed to fvck that up and it took them 2 months to fix it!!!!!!! At the end some programmer had to do it manually!!!!

Then I tried to spend the 50 euro voucher... well, that went like shït. First of all, they discounted the voucher from the price of all the items in the order, so if for instance, you buy a 50 euro cappo and apply a 50 euro voucher, your invoice will be 0 euros and if you return the item you will not get anything back! Of course your order will also not be insured in any way not to mention about the tax implications of such a practice.

So when I retuned some of the items I got a 10th of the price, if anything. Would have been better off by selling them in Marktplaats.

Last but not least, I finally got the Bax points in my account and then I went to order a mic stand with them but never placed the order. Still, 1.900 Bax points were deducted from my account!!!

It seems that nothing works in this company.

Oh yes, I forgot, I got an email about nearly a month ago from one of your CS people but never got a follow up. What a shïtty crappy and utterly horrible shopping experience. Never again.

You can shove the 1.900 Bax shïtty points up your hole without lube for all I care.

And for the rest, my unfortunately dead mother will be waiting for you on the other side....... a$$h%l3s

PS: excuse my french, but I really think you so god damn deserve it!

Ordered a swimsuit 50 euros worth, had to pay for delivery. Item was wrong size/not fitting and had to pay for return. Last time I order/buy from Superdry.

Bad food, worst customer service

We decided to book this catering service for an event we hosted and quite frankly, initial events should have been a warning of what was coming.

Initial call with them was friendly and we decided to go on with them. After we came up with our menu we sent them an email to confirm.

4 days later, and after calling because nobody was getting back to us, we finally get an email with the lame excuse that "they had forgotten to get back to us" and that perhaps it was a bit too much food.

Then another email followed 3 minutes later asking about what time we wanted to have the food delivered.

The yet another email was sent 3 minutes later with another apology stating that "it's a bit early and I think I'm not fully awake yet" asking for the delivery address and asking if we needed cutlery and such.

We agreed to talk about the menu as it appeared to be a bit too much food and that was it.

The day after we got our quote but received no call regarding the "too much food", so I called and it turned out the person was working from home and unavailable. Ended talking to a guy named Paco (apparently the/an owner) who called me after the number of emails back and forth and finalised the menu.

Finally the order was placed and we gave them a 30 minute window for delivery (considering it was a 15 min drive that should be enough).

The day of the event the food was delivered half an hour late, but that was not the worst part, besides most of the food being mediocre, there were 2 plates that shined for their lack of quality, one was the cochinillo, which was like eating wheel truck rubber (not to mention it was the most expensive one), and the other the pimientos de padron, whose skin were like biting plastic ... utterly uneatable. The rest was eatable but nothing out of the ordinary (I make better paella my self).

But the worst part of it all is when I received an email 2 weeks later asking me when was I going to return the cutlery! At no point during the process I was asked whether I wanted to return it myself or they were to pick it up. After a number of emails I decided to have them pick it up and forget about this company forever. Of course I had to pay for them to pick it up. They still had the balls to claim they informed me about it.

At no point in time they acknowledged any responsibility, not about the food and not about informing their client (us) about the returning of items. In fact they came up with some lame screenshot that is not in any of the emails received regarding them stating we had to return the items.

To top it off, Mr. Paco, the apparent owner as I mentioned, showed up to pick up the items, and instead of saying sorry he just went on about how he has been doing this for the past 18 years. Well, it appears that the only thing they have learned in 18 years is how to lose new customers.

The customer service problem can easily be solved by first of all properly informing your customers and following up in a timely manner (quite frankly I don't care if you're sleepy when I am paying close to 700 euros worth of food, and if I would have been informed about the picking up of items and its cost perhaps I would not be giving a 1 star - I wish there was 0 - and would have agreed to it), and secondly by learning how to properly cook food.

What a horrible example of Spanish cuisine and customer success.

Never again.

No tenéis vergüenza

Si ya es horrible perder a un ser querido, más horrible es tener que lidiar con esta empresa.

Desafortunadamente tuve que sufrir la muerte de ambos mis padres durante y por el covid, sin embargo, la muerte de mi madre fue, si cabe, más dolorosa gracias a los incompetentes y usureros que componen esta empresa.

Dado que resido en el extranjero tuve que desplazarme a España. Un tío mio se ocupó de firmar para llevar el cuerpo a la funeraria y la funeraria solicitó los datos bancarios para cargar la factura pertinente. Se les proporcionan los datos y hay queda todo hasta que empiezan a llamarme diciendo que el banco no les informa sobre el saldo que hay en la cuenta (solo faltaba).

Para algo tan sencillo como una domiciliación bancaria empezaron a poner pegas por todos lados, por lo que les informe de que con una sencilla domiciliación bastaba. Al igual que hicimos con mi padre.

Total, que una vez en España llamo a la empresa a ver donde están las cenizas de mi madre a las 12 del mediodía y me informan de que están en el tanatorio de Collado Villalba. Me voy a Collado Villalba y va y me dice el señor que me atendió allí que no, que las cenizas de mi madre no estaban ahí! Resulta que ahora estaban en el sur de Madrid!!!

Total, que conduce hasta el sur de Madrid desde el norte para llegar allí y que te digan la misma chorrada de la factura, y tras casi 2 horas esperando a que el torpe de turno hiciese los papeles bien (DNI equivocados, nombres equivocados, y multiples impresiones de documentos una y otra vez) al final conseguí salir con las cenizas de mi madre.

Empezamos a las 4 y pico de la tarde y salimos a las 9 y pico de la noche!

Es una absoluta vergüenza tener que lidiar con semejantes USUREROS, torpes, e incompetentes... jamás vi nada igual.

Es una absoluta vergüenza semejante trato cuando alguien pierde a un ser querido...

No tenéis vergüenza!!!
