Why Creative Scalps Is a Top Choice for SMP in the UK

If you're considering SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation), Creative Scalps is one of the top clinics in the UK. I highly recommend Marc, he's outstanding at both repairing previous SMP work and creating flawless results from scratch. Having said that, anyone in his team is also very good.

Dangerous Product, Dismissive Support – Serious Safety Concerns Ignored

I am extremely disappointed with Silentnight after experiencing a serious safety issue with one of their electric blankets. After around four years of use, the controller began sparking and emitting a strong burning smell when switched on. This occurred during normal use, not due to visible damage or misuse, and could easily have caused a fire had I not been present.

I reported the issue immediately, expecting it to be treated with the urgency that potential electrical hazards deserve. Instead, Silentnight conducted an internal inspection and concluded it was just wear and tear. They dismissed my report entirely, offered no resolution or goodwill gesture, and showed no concern that this could be happening to other customers.

Even after I referenced relevant safety legislation — including the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, Silentnight maintained their position and declined to take responsibility. Their attitude has been polite, but deflective and dismissive, putting legal defensiveness above customer safety.

For a company that promotes itself as caring about quality and safety, I found their response incredibly disappointing. I’ve now reported the issue to Trading Standards to ensure proper oversight. If you value safety and responsive customer service, I would urge you to think twice before buying Silentnight electrical products.

Fantastic Experience

Fantastic Experience – Highly Recommend!

I had the pleasure of meeting Rupert, the owner, and he was extremely friendly and transparent. He didn’t try to push any services I didn’t ask for, which I really appreciated.

Rupert is also highly knowledgeable and experienced, with a real eye for facial aesthetics, you can tell you're in expert hands.

The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

I’ll definitely be visiting again for sure!

From the moment I first walked into Rawlings Opticians, I knew I’d found something special. Every visit is a genuinely positive experience. The team are always warm, welcoming, and professional — they remember your name, make you feel at home, and are happy to help with anything.

Simon, my optician, is outstanding. His attention to detail is incredible, meticulous, knowledgeable, and always so reassuring. He takes time to explain everything clearly and makes sure I feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. Beyond his expertise, he’s just a truly lovely person, approachable, kind, and genuinely caring.

Finding Rawlings (Purley) has been such a stroke of luck. It’s not just an opticians, it’s a place where you feel looked after, valued, and in the best possible hands. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Avoid Just Eat! Fraudulent Practices, Contradictory Responses & No Accountability

I had an awful experience with Just Eat, where they took my money for an order that was never delivered and then refused to issue a refund, despite clear evidence that their delivery driver failed to deliver my food and falsely claimed the order was completed.

Key Issues:
❌ Delivery Driver Fraud – The driver went to the wrong address, admitted this over the phone, then refused to correct his mistake and falsely marked my order as "delivered." This is dishonest and fraudulent.

❌ Just Eat Gave Contradictory Responses – At first, they claimed GPS tracking confirmed the order was delivered to my correct address. Later, they contradicted themselves, saying I had provided incorrect delivery details. Which one is it? They can’t have it both ways!

❌ Flawed GPS Tracking Argument – Just Eat relies on inaccurate GPS tracking to deny refunds, even though their own drivers have been wrongfully fired due to GPS errors (as reported in Kent Online). They know their tracking is flawed, yet still use it to refuse refunds.

❌ Legal Violations – Their refusal to refund is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles customers to a refund when a service is not performed correctly. They are also violating the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 by misleading customers with false claims about delivery.

❌ Zero Accountability – Despite multiple emails providing clear evidence, Just Eat refused to investigate their driver or acknowledge their mistakes. They simply copy-pasted generic responses, ignoring all facts.

Final Warning to Other Customers:
📌 If a Just Eat driver falsely claims to have delivered your order, don’t expect a refund. They will blame you, ignore evidence, and hide behind flawed GPS tracking.

📌 Avoid Just Eat unless you’re happy to gamble with your money. If anything goes wrong, they will not help you.

📌 Take your business elsewhere! I have reported them to RetailADR, Trading Standards, and my bank for fraudulent charges.

🚨 DO NOT TRUST JUST EAT! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HUNGRY. 🚨

Not sure why Scottish Power has created…

Not sure why Scottish Power has created a new review page. Their other review page has a rating of 1.1 and this genuinely reflects their level of service and value for money.

This in itself is deceptive to any new customer. My experience with Scottish Power was that they did not return calls or answer emails. Made so many errors that my bill ran up high and I am not even sure if their tariff or calculations were fair. I complained to the Ombudsman due to the appalling experience I had with them and the Ombudsman awarded me £200 in which Scottish Power recalculated my bill shortly after to negate the £200 I was awarded. I am glad to say I am with a new provider and my bills are a lot cheaper and a better level of service.

Things may have changed now, but I am in doubt of this and nothing will ever compensate for the experience I had with them.

Pretty bad delivery process

Pretty bad delivery process. Ordered an item and it went to the wrong delivery address. I contacted LookFantastic before it was delivered to advise the Courier as I was not permitted to contact the Courier. Your process did not allow for this and as a result the item is now lost. This could of been avoided if you had a good process in place or listened.

Poor service and customer service.
