Store collection gone wrong
Ordered a product online for collection at the Currys Bedford store at a Black Friday deal. Awaited as usual for the "ready for collection" email or text message but after almost 2 weeks I started to get impatient and contacted online support. This is when I was informed that the product had already been at the store and sent back and was now out of stock, even though it was still showing in my account as not ready to collect. Because I bought it with a voucher I can only get a refund as a Currys gift card, which is a bit useless as the product I want is now out of stock. So not only have I missed on the better black Friday pricings, I am now left with a large sum gift card for Currys that i'm unlikely to use. At not stage did I get any communication of what was happening.
Edit: After writing this review I was contacted by Currys customer support who genuinely tried to help with this issue and we found an alternative acceptable compromise. Still cannot give 5 stars, as i wish it didn't require a bad review to be contacted but thank you Shauna for your help.
