Xc40 one problem after another

We bought our 2020 Volvo last February, warranty expired this Feb. Less than 50k on the clock and so far there’s been an alternator problem (in warranty), the turbo arm has had to be replaced (out of warranty) and now the boot refuses to shut. Apparently the struts have gone and this is to do with a design fault. £500 per strut. Am absolutely disgusted with Volvos customer service - nothing we can do but pay the 500 and as a gesture of goodwill Volvo ‘may’ give us some money back. Am not holding my breath. We deliberately bought a Volvo because of their reputation for reliability but unfortunately it hasn’t lived up to it. Will never buy a Volvo again

Hoover hg4 waste of money

We bought the hoover hg4 hydro around December and I wish we hadn’t. This thing gets stuck so often I mainly spend my time unsticking it. The app is glitchy, I have to keep resetting it. We have wooden floors with rugs and it cannot seem to navigate its way from one floor type to the other without the rugs getting stuck. It gets stuck under the sofa (one of the main reasons we bought it was to vacuum under the sofa and armchair). The settings always revert to mop wetness max and vacuum power min no matter how many times I change it. Honestly a waste of time and money

So glad I waited before writing this…

So glad I waited before writing this review. Bought an AOC curved gaming monitor as part of a bundle for our son for Christmas. Unfortunately Christmas morning came and it was only supplied with a European plug. Absolutely useless when you don’t have a European adaptor. The agent that I spoke to was most unhelpful, stating that the power cord that came with it was suitable for the country it was manufactured in and as a result nothing they could do. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do either as all electrical shops were closed on Christmas Day. So our son’s main present was unusable. It didn’t state anything on the box or website that the power cord was suitable only for European use

tried calling to arrange a smart meter…

tried calling to arrange a smart meter after countless emails from them and they're online booking service not working. The agent couldn't hear me nor I hear him from the level of noise with people laughing and joking in the background - must have been a party going on. Definitely will not be trying to arrange this again with this crowd - very unprofessional

not impressed so far

not impressed so far. I've only been with rebel energy for 2 months but despite numerous requests I am unable to log in to our customer account...I think I'm at 4 requests now. So when meter readings are needed I have to call them up...this morning yet another 40 minutes wasted on the phone

Addition: following on from a response from rebel, I have been told that for the last couple of months. Not too bothered about an app, would appreciate being able to log into my account. Also, there is no information on your website stating the app is being worked on so that may be useful for customers to know aswell.

Easirent not that easy at stansted

Booking process was very easy and straightforward and I received an email confirmation which stated that I needed to call a number once I got to the airport and one of their ‘friendly drivers’ would pick us up. This isn’t the case. When I rang the number they told me I had to get in the premier inn shuttle bus and walk from the stop to their portacabin:) the car I got was fine however it clearly hadn’t been cleaned out from the previous driver as there was shoe prints on the back seat (not noticed until the next morning as it had been very dark when I picked the car up). Also, the car alarm kept going off and despite googling etc I couldn’t figure out why. When I called easirent they said it was a problem with that car and to just lock it with the key and that will solve the problem. If they knew this was an issue why didn’t they tell me on pick up. The man who dealt with me in pick up was friendly and helpful, the man on drop off clearly didn’t want to be there on a Sunday!

All in all I would use them again but not quite as easy as easirent make out it is

Life Cover

I am always a bit sceptical when contacted by companies relating to products such as this, immediately on my guard thinking the worst. I need not of been. The service I received was excellent. From the start the information and person centric approach to my needs were fantastic. The people I spoke with regarding some of my health issues were proffesional in their responses, were empathetic and exceptionally knowledgeable about the process and how it would develop. I sometimes get confused, age isn't being kind to me, but they were patient, spoke with clarity and were instantly contactable if needed, something quite unique nowadays. I would highly recommend to anybody looking to update/renew or enquire about life cover to use this company. It was for me something I was putting off because I thought it would be a difficult to do thing, how wrong was I. I now know that this important issue for my family when Im no longer here has had the best attention and will have the best outcome for them. Total peace of mind for me. I must mention Hannah and Rick, each were fantastic ambassadors and are a credit to the company.

Came across transferwise quite by accident. Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. We were buying a property overseas and transferwise were offering real time rates instead of the awful rate that Nat west were prepared to give us. Faultless you’re date and we’ve made many transfers with them.

So easy to use

So easy to use, in fact they do all the leg work. They send me a reminder every month to order my prescription from my GP, he does it and it goes off to be filled. Delivered to my door within 2 days...couldn't be easier.
