The delivery took a good couple of weeks, due to supply issues. The company kept me well informed, and provided regular and timely updates, including a video from the Founder explaining the delays and apologising. So even though the delivery took a while, I received my order in the end.
My setup under the sink turned out to be rather non standard, so I was very sad I couldn’t install it straight away. I reached out to support and within 2 days I was shipped the necessary replacement parts for free, so I could install it and throw away my filter jug!
The device itself feels a bit flimsy, which is probably to be expected for an early stage startup. The box it was shipped in was a little banged up, but that doesn’t affect the functionality. I don’t understand what the point of the battery is, since I expect it’s probably a timer that will turn red when it’s the time to change the filter. I’d just honestly send people emails to replace their filters, or even better have them sign up to a subscription :)
During the first week I have definitely tried reaching for the jug when trying to fill up my water bottle, and facepalmed hard after realising I don’t have to do that anymore. That problem has naturally gone away after the first week, and I can now enjoy filtered water straight from my tap.
Overall I can’t understand how this is not the standard in all homes, mandated and supported by water companies. It would make their jobs easier and protect consumers from inevitable variations in water quality. Access to clean water is a human right and therefore we should the public from variation in quality and ensure that everyone has the same experience, regardless of their postcode. If they can sent people to check the water meters, they could install replacement filters just as easily.
Anyway enough rambling, world is a broken place and we can’t have nice things. But this company restored my confidence that things can be better and there are still people hard at work to do so.

So far so good! Our completion date on a new house happened while we were still in holiday in another country. The Agent in chat was able to walk me through the order process, so I could order the broadband immediately and have a connection straight away! The connection is of good quality, the free WIFi access point is excellent: we have a 2 storey house (timber frame) and my office is at the top floor: reception is excellent and I have not noticed any throughout or latency penalty. Overall very impressed!

The crew was very efficient and incredibly quick, finished ahead of scheduled time. Sadly no protective equipment: I can understand how physical work would be hard to perform in masks, so we had to rely solely on trying to socially distance.
