I had to wait seven months for my new Fiesta but given the current climate, that’s not unusual. Throughout my wait Dawn and Michael kept me fully informed of estimated delivery dates and changes in the vehicle’s specifications, they are a good team. So far I am really pleased with my new Fiesta ST Vignale!

Refractive lens exchange was a long held ambition of mine as I know of quite a number of people who have had positive outcomes from this kind of surgery. I underwent this procedure in November 2019 at Optegra Eye Hospital Yorkshire and it was the best decision I made and the most rewarding experience I had all year!
I felt reassured by the initial thorough and very detailed examinations of my eyes and vision and the follow up consultation with Mr. Rehman when I was able to discuss the procedure and possible outcomes with him. I was able to arrange a surgery date to suit me and opted to have surgery on both eyes at the same time with multi focal lens replacements.
I have to say that I actually enjoyed my surgical experience! I was certainly very relaxed with the pre-surgery diazepam. It was completely painless and performed under local anaesthetic. It only took 30 minutes to replace the lenses in both eyes and Mr. Rehman kept me informed throughout the whole operation. After another 30 minutes of post operative recovery, I was able to leave the hospital with all the necessary drops and clear instructions for their use over the following month. The very next morning my vision was significantly better and this has been confirmed at my two subsequent examinations.
I am delighted to report that my vision is practically perfect, it is certainly better than 20/20! I am relishing reading the small print on everything and feel a whole lot younger now that I don’t need reading glasses!
