Conveyance mess

Shifted from one conveyancer to another. Not kept informed of the process. My case started in September 2023 and is still ongoing in April 2024 and I am now at risk of losing my mortgage offer. Terrible service and not easy to make a complaint against.

Easy to use website and product…

Easy to use website and product ordering. Excellent final product and fast delivery. Some of the photos chosen were quite low quality, but what was sent back were rectified. Great company and offering and will definitely use again.

Great items, but terrible logistics.

Twice I have attempted to use Wayfair and twice now they have completely failed to deliver. What makes it worse is the blatant lies that is for some reason permitted from their logistics company. I’ve awaited my packages for months, the tracking has been on both items a blatant lie in that the info is wrong, both times it then states it’s delivered when they hadn’t and I’ve spent so much time subsequently investigating. Then you get in touch again with Wayfair just to be fobbed off with no truth or assistance. Absolute rubbish!

And in response to the reply from Wayfair. I did indeed check my account and the delivery was wrongly updated as delivered, which was a blatant lie. So after waiting for weeks, I’m now waiting 5-10 days to then await a delivery date lol. That’s why I’ve requested to Wayfair that they list delivery schedules on items prior to payments. Then customers can choose whether they are happy to wait for months or not!

*PLEASE DO NOT BANK WITH SANTANDER* - I pride myself with being astute, but when my account was hacked and how Santander have dealt, I am leaving straight away. I’ve done nothing wrong, had to listen to excuses from my bank that it was firstly my phone provider, then my wife or family and finally, that I must have shared my details somewhere. On top of this, the customer service was terrible, distrusting, rude, incompetent and honestly, is the worst I’ve ever experienced. If your lucky, yes the banking is moderate, but any problem then you are in so much trouble. And this is to me, a customer of over 20 years until now when I am leaving and will never return. What a complete farce Santander have become.

Parking 10/10 - Yorkshire Lounge - 5/10

I bought the package ‘meet&greet’ with Yorkshire lounge access. The parking is as usual perfect as dropping car off in front of departures and pick up within 5mins upon arrival. The lounge was not worth the money though, unless drinking a huge amount within 3hrs and extremely busy within Summer months. Only worth it I’m Winter in my opinion and with a group of friends rather than family. That said though, good overall.

Deceitful Advertising & Prices

Deceitful Advertising & Prices
I have recently bought the VIZR Heads Up Display to make for safer driving instead of looking away at my phone SAT NAV. The price seemed good and the product seemed initiative. All good thus far!
Delivery was quite slow, but ok, sometimes it happens. The problem then though is the notification through the post stating that a Customs Charge is required to be paid of £18, as the company refuses to acknowledge national taxing. Ok, not nice but I must have missed it in the fine print when I bought it. Nope, no info on the official website, nor anything explaining that you also (when downloading the necessary app) would need to pay a yearly charge, or another £15 lifetime to acquire what was so called included. So in all, instead of 39.99 plus 10 for so called shipping, I have now paid 39.99 + 10 + 18 + 15 so in total, £83. My complaint here is that the company refuses to include the costs of shipping (inc taxes) as per the country destination, or that a subscription may be required. To be honest, I would have paid this as is still fair (ish), but for any company to be deceitful to customers to beat other similar gadget prices is not on. Just wanted to ensure that other people get to know of this before purchasing.

Terrible Company and Customer Service

Terrible Company and Customer Service - I recently saw a product advertised on Facebook for the sale of a ‘Translator Device’. As I’m about to travel to Turkey and are struggling to learn the language, even though quite expensive at £80, I decided to go ahead and purchase. As the advertisement didnt state available languages and I was struggling for network over my phone (damn 4G to 3G), I spoke with the online ‘live’ Make Trendy operative to clarify that the product indeed included Turkish. I was told that it most definitely did and was a brilliant product. After awaiting for over a month and making many contacts as to the delay, it finally came through the post. Unfortunately it doesn’t have Turkish included, is very cheap looking (Chinese product confirmation included) and needs a mobile phone to work, which must be on at all times. This is not what I was led to believe and is a complete rip off as I could have paid to just install the app on my phone. I have straight away challenged MakeTrendy.com to be adamantly told that I cannot have a refund, nore a credit note and that I have no ‘Consumer Rights’. I will be taking this to Trading Standards but wanted to warn anyone before they waste money on any defective, cheap but expensive tat. Not as stated on advertisements (very vague), employee lies as to clarifications. Terrible Customer Service and I will never buy from them ever again.
