Bedding from Bedding Envy is the best

Bedding from Bedding Envy is expensive, even with their annoying 60% discount gimmick. BUT I still give them 5 stars as their products are amazing, luxurious and best quality you can get. I don't bother looking elsewhere now for Bedding, I've found what I like and I'm really fussy with Bedding.

The quality of Sharks products in my opinion can't be beaten, right down to the packaging. Granted you're paying more but it's worth the extra for a premium product. Delivery also quick and hassle free.

Terrible Company Avoid

After waiting a full month for 2 sofa covers to arrive, I opened to discover both had several faults running through the material. I contacted company who replied within a couple of days offering me 20% discount to keep the items. I didn’t want to keep them considering how bad the faults were so requested to return them for replacements. That was 3 weeks ago, I have not heard from them since. I’ve contacted them again, over a week ago and still no response, silence!! So I’m left with 2 faulty items that I have had to get professionally repaired to be able to use in my caravan. Even if there were no faults, the quality of the item does not match the high price for them. Truly terrible company to deal with. I would not use or recommend this company, even if the price of the products were half the current price. Delivery terrible, communication terrible, quality terrible. They advertise as .co.uk but are Chinese imports.
Order date 1/4/25; Order received 1/5/25 Stay clear, you have been warned!!! This is the second poor experience with this company. 2 orders, 2 bad experiences.
It’s just a shame I can’t share photos of the faulty items. AND still no reply from them
UPDATE- I contacted them 10 days ago with the information they requested in their response below and they have still failed to contact me to resolve. This indicates they have just responded to make it look like they are doing something, without even bothering. Making this company even worse

One of the items I ordered was out of stock even though I could order it and pay for it. Would not have bothered with the whole order if I had known this. If items are not is stock, don't advertise them, simple really. Not sure I would use this site again.

Didn't really action my request or…

Didn't really action my request or query. I'm £700 in credit (normally slightly in arrears this time of year). I asked to refund some of the credit and reduce my monthly payments (if I'm paying too much in the winter I will certainly be paying too much in the summer). I was told they could not action a refund as I had a payment pending, eh!!! They also said my payments are in line with annual forecast, like previously mentioned, if I'm paying too much in the winter, I'll be paying far too much in the summer. They just want to keep the money their side, its quite obvious. Plus it took 5 days for them to respond to my e mail. I think that's an unacceptable time frame. Should be same day response or next working day at the very least. Huge profits but they charge astronomical and don't employ enough staff

In regards to the pending payment and the refund I am afraid this is partially correct, in this case the account was not billed up to date, our policy around refunds requires us to bill you up-to date within 14 working days of your request. We do this to ensure that customers are receiving funds that are in the account, when the account is up-to date to avoid us returning a 'false credit' and potentially putting customers into a debit, you may not be at risk but this is a blanket policy we need to adhere to, to ensure we are protecting customers which is our best interest.

It also makes sense for us to wait for your pending payment has been added to the balance so if you wished to receive a refund you have your more up to date balance after the payment has been taken, so this way it works in your favour, if you have more monies going onto the balance you could request a larger sum if you think you are over-paying and/or we can reduce the Direct Debit.

Whilst on the subject of Direct Debit, it can be difficult for us to estimate your balance forecast for the future due to the nature of smart tariffs you have on the account, we also do not take any export credits into account for the direct Debit because they can vary so much and external factors influence the forecast so to ensure we are airing on the side of caution, it is in the customers' best interest we do not include this to make sure we are not giving false balance forecasts potentially putting customers into debit.

I can assure you the money's location is not our concern, if you wish to have the money refunded, as long as we are in accordance with the refund requirements then we are more than happy to action a refund for you.

Now, the timeframe in which we reply is much longer than we would expect, I do apologise for this and we aim to get back to customers within a couple of days, there is however a bit more context to our recent delays and we have been extremely busy as of late, and we are constantly growing as a business and taking on new staff as of recent, I would be happy to talk to you about on a phone call if you would prefer to discuss this further.

I can now see that the refunds situation has been concluded but if you have any more concerns and you believe we have not delay with all of your issues, please E-mail be back and I can call you at a convenient time to suit you.

Speedy delivery. Item missing from order (hence only 4 stars) however an e mail resolved with missing item sent out next day delivery. Would not hesitate to use again, now knowing how well the resolve issues.

Lad who came and repaired the paintwork…

Lad who came and repaired the paintwork on my car was excellent. Did a brilliant job, repair was perfect. Just wish people would stop turning round outside my house as its a dead end. Car has been scraped several times, with not one driver owning up!!! This company has done the repairs needed every time, they're the best. Hope the company recognises good workers

Yodel is the pits do not use

Took 3 attempts from supplier for me to get my parcel. 1st parcel was returned to supplier, no reason given. Parcel was re despatched for it to disappear into the Yodel black hole. Received 3rd despatched parcel with part order as supplier had run out of some of the items from my original order, however it was delivered. Yodel are so consistent in delivering crap service that I avoid using companies that use Yodel as it’s a gamble whether you will receive your item on time, if at all or in one piece. How Yodel is still operating is a total mystery to me

Emily is an asset to the company.

Thanks to Emily, 2nd great transaction with this company. It’s the wrong company if you want next day delivery. If you’re prepared to wait a little while for your purchase, this company is well worth considering. The products are of a really high standard. This delivery was well within the timeframe given prior to ordering. Shows it’s always worth giving companies a 2nd chance.

Charles & Ivy have been in touch with me and have thoroughly explained how and why my order went wrong. I am quite satisfied that problems were out of their control at the time and that they have put robust measures in place to ensure future orders run more smoothly.
I’ve tried them again and can honestly say delivery and communications were 100%. Same as my previous order, the items are top notch. I would now recommend shopping with this company. Delivery was within timeframe but still not the quickest. Given that a lot of stuff is made to order this can be expected. I am leaving previous review for transparency only.
Eventually received product ordered. Decent quality, but it was at a premium cost, which you don’t mind paying if the quality is good. What gives this company 1 star is the dire delivery times (longer than stated). The company don’t respond to e mails. You are always on hold for an hour before being able to speak to anyone. Shame as I was going to order more items for my garden but not with the customer service I experienced. Also after ordering I did a bit digging and it seems this terrible service is the norm. Also I was lied to on my first telephone conversation. I phoned on a Monday, I was told my items would be delivered same week. Friday got an e mail to say it was going to be delivered the following week. Don’t know how they are managing to run a business the way they are. Seems like there’s only Charles and Ivy working there!!

ACER Aspire S27-1755 27" All-in-One PC - Intel® Core™ i5, 1 TB SSD
I paid £999 for this PC - in my opinion certainly not worth it. Was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived and was set up (which was easy by the way). But never mind, it might be lightning fast, it wasn’t, but was fine for what I needed it for. Then I heard the sound it made, the fan is so, so noisy. Again never mind, not a problem. I’d read the speakers were terrible so I played something from YouTube just to try them, without doubt the worst, tinny sound never heard from a PC or laptop. My mobile phone has better sound. Old transistor radios sound better. But again never mind, I didn’t buy it for to play music or watch videos etc.
So working the on the PC for about a week, for roughly half an hour a couple of times a day on Excel and web browsing reasonably satisfied but not blown away. Then when it was 6 days old the image on screen started to distort whilst booking theatre tickets. I completed transaction as the image deteriorated then closed the web browser. The screen image still distorted but getting worse. Shut PC down and restarted (several times) to no avail. Tried again a few hours later image was back to normal. However next day scenario repeated. Took back to Curry’s who gave me a full refund after I showed them video footage of screen image juddering and flickering. I won’t be buying an Acer again.

Dire delivery experience

Got a PC on next day delivery. On the morning delivery due got an AM hour time slot. The delivery window came and went. The app was stating the driver was running a little late but parcel would still be delivered. Stated this right up till 7pm. Then it changed to “sorry we missed you”. They didn’t miss me, I waited in all day. Dogs bark when there’s a knock at the door. I even checked CCTV footage, there was no delivery attempt. Delivery was made the day after. Not exactly Curry’s fault, they used DPD but I think they should change delivery company if this is a regular occurrence. Totally unacceptable and complaining to DPD got a weak meaningless apology without real reason explained

Not the first time I’ve used AO and…

Not the first time I’ve used AO and certainly won’t be the last, especially if you want something quickly. Smooth purchase right the way through to checkout. Multiple delivery options to suit. Kept updated via e mail and text, to an estimated delivery time slot on the evening before delivery, then a more accurate time slot on the morning of delivery. Finally a courteous phone call from delivery guys about 5 minutes before arriving. To finish it all off pleasant, cheerful delivery guys who are happy to put, in my case a washer/dryer exactly where I wanted it. Even reminding me to take transit bolts out before use (I didn’t want item unpacking or plumbed in straight away). Got to say delivery guys are a credit to AO!!

Very poor service from a delivery company that is at the bottom of their league. Delivery arrived 3 days later. Totally unacceptable service. Web chat customer service a waste of time, gave false promises several times. Wouldn’t mind if this was a one off occasion but constant poor service

Unfortunately not the club it once was

Unfortunately not the club it once was. They are pricing themselves out of the market. Having to pay extra for 2nd or more adults brings the price up instead of standard price for say 2 adults. Not as if the sites offer anything exceptional. Yes you can generally expect clean toilets & showers but most other sites have now caught up. Bring your prices down to an affordable level, I’m only still a member because I forgot to cancel my annual payment going out the bank. Years ago the club was worth it for the magazine alone, even that is rubbish now. Haven’t been on one of the CAMC sites for 3 years as I’ve found cheaper and better sites not on the network every time I’ve wanted to go away

Where the Club provides an indicative price to stay at a Club campsite (e.g. the magazine, or Sites Directory) we provide the lowest possible 'from price'. All campsites 'from' price is calculated the same (cheapest pitch plus one adult). The Club has taken this approach as this method of providing a ‘from price’ that is most commonly used by other travel and campsite operators. This helps ensure that Club campsite fees are perceived equally to that of alternative sites when compared.
We're always looking at ways we can improve the services we provide our members and a large part of this involves continuously reviewing member feedback and pricing structures for our stays.
Flexible pricing has been introduced to allow the Club to respond to changing circumstances - such as the recent severe increases in fuel and the cost of operating the campsite network.
Any revenue surplus is reinvested back into improving the campsite network or purchasing new campsites. In future years the Club's ambition is to set lower annual price increases.
We have already frozen any planned increases to pitch fees for 2024 and have reduced the deposits required to secure these reservations. Throughout the year we will continue to introduce a range of money saving offers to make staying with us more cost effective.
We are also in the process of trialling different methods for pay on use electricity, and if successful we can look to understand how we might be able to deliver this across our circa 17,500 bollards in a way that is accessible to all members and guests.

If I could give this shamble of a…

If I could give this shamble of a company zero I would have. Been trying since October 2021 to get my pension. Every time I call I get a different excuse. I constantly get cut off having to go through the calling procedure again. It’s obvious they are keeping hold of peoples money for as long as they possibly can, causing problems for people like myself who is waiting for their “income” How Mercer can operate the way they do without being penalised is beyond me. After a wasted afternoon on the phone to them, and getting no further forward I think it’s time to contact the Pension Ombudsman. When things do get sorted, I’m beginning to feel really uncomfortable that I’m going to have to rely on such a useless (or unethical) company. I didn’t have a choice with this company. If you do have a choice go nowhere near them. I am so annoyed with them, not just the waiting for moneys owed to me, but also the wasted hours upon hours over the last few months wasting my breath.
