My credit card number got stolen

I searched for an item I wanted to buy and found this site, which I had never heard of before. But when I tried to buy the item, my bank rejected the transaction for suspected fraud. I got worried that there might be something dodgy about the site, so I bought my item somewhere else. But three days later there were a pile of fraudulent charges on my card. Of course I don't know what happened, but I'm concerned that using this site led my card number to be stolen.

Customer service useless

I ordered an item that was dropshipped. The manufacturer shipped the wrong item. Not REI's fault. I asked what to do and they said return it and order again. Same wrong item again. So I asked them to straighten it out with the manufacturer. But all they would do was leave a message with the manufacturer and tell me that they expected a reply in 3-5 days. Then nothing. I had to contact them again, and they told me the same story. Over and over again. Now it's six weeks since my original order and they never offer me any resolution except to keep waiting. So I gave up and bought my item somewhere else, and I won't order from them again.

Products are great and they treated me right

They sell rope, not just nylon but various materials. It's a straightforward high-quality product at an attractive price. Last time I ordered they had free shipping for orders over $25. This time their shipping web page said that shipping would be $7.50 for orders under $50, but when I tried to make my order their system charged me much more. So I complained about that and they got back to me saying that the web page was in error and that policy had been abandoned, but that they would make it good by giving the shipping price they advertised. Very few companies today would do that.

No one to help me

I went to buy a tool cabinet. I found what I wanted, but then it took 45 minutes and asking 4 times to get someone who could actually get the the cabinet that I wanted. Finally he put it on a cart and said take this to the cashier and they will get a loader to help you get in your car. But there were no loaders. They only have 2 and they had called in sick. There was no way that my friend and I were going to be able to get this 150 lb. box into our car by ourselves. In the end the cashier its came out to help us and we managed OK, but the whole thing was ridiculous. There were plenty of employees in the store, but apparently there was only one that could get the box off the shelving and none that were actually supposed to be helping load the car.

How can "bargain bin" items be out of stock?

I ordered two items, but they only sent me one. They said the other item was out of stock. But it was a "bargain bin" item with a discount for having a rip in the packaging. I went back to the web site and it said they had several of them still available. This doesn't seem like the kind of thing that goes in and out of stock on a daily basis.

So I called them to ask what was going on. The agent said he would investigate and call me back. He never called.

Lost order

I have generally had a good opinion of Azure Standard. However, my last order appeared to have been lost. I made the order on November 17. One in-stock item. When nothing happened by November 28, I wrote them to inquire. On November 30, they said the problem was a backup in the warehouse. However, that same day they also shipped my order. Maybe a coincidence, but another possibility is that they had lost the order, found it and filled it in response to my inquiry, but didn't want to admit that.

Whenever I make an order with this company, they warn me that my order may be delayed because of high volume. Then it typically arrives within 48 hours. This is because my items are being drop shipped, but still I think it reflects very well on Pure Modern Living that they process the order and send it to the warehouse very quickly.

Free returns, but trouble getting my money back

I ordered some slippers from this company, and the shipping was free, and when they didn't fit, the return shipping was free too. Very nice! Unfortunately, after they received the return it took three weeks and several inquiries from me before they actually refunded my money.

Shipped in reasonable time in spite of pandemic

In the present disrupted situation, many suppliers take weeks and weeks to ship your order, making it difficult to figure out when to reorder to keep things in stock. Food Service Direct shipped in one week and our order was delivered a few days later. By present standards, this is excellent service -- much better than others.

"We're not taking complaints"

It wasn't a big deal to start with. The tracking information said the package was left my front door but actually it was at the street, more than 100 feet away. The stunning thing was that when I finally worked my way through the automated attendant and reached a human being, the human being said "I'm sorry about that, but because of the virus we're not taking complaints." Apparently it doesn't matter how bad the service is -- they officially just don't care.

Slow; zero communication.

I ordered the product on March 15th. On that day my order status changed to "Processed by Vendor", whatever that means. On March 22, I inquired what was going on and got a message "Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." With no further response from support and no indication that the product was or ever would be shipped, I gave up and bought my product elsewhere. Finally on March 31, the item arrived. The order status is still "Processed by Vendor". I'm shopping elsewhere next time.

Helpful support, customer-friendly policies

I bought a wetsuit from this company and it did not fit. I had a pleasant conversation with the customer support person, who advised me to buy a different model and size, which did fit (though it was more expensive). I sent back the old one and received a full refund. Most impressively, the original wetsuit had come with free shipping, and when I returned it there was no hassle about that. I just got back everything I'd paid. Too many companies nowadays have "free" shipping until you return something, at which point they don't refund the hidden shipping charge. It's nice to deal with a company with honest, customer-friendly policies.

Very helpful

I am a U.S. resident. I used The Independent Pharmacy to get medication that is no longer made in the States, even though it is still in the pharmacopia. This required a lot of conversation, but The Independent Pharmacy was always very helpful to me and in the end sent the medication very promptly to the hotel in London where I was staying for a visit.

Should be clear that it is not Everpure product

While Premiere Sales filters may in fact be good filters, it should be clearer on their web site that even when the filter is called "Everpure" it is not a filter made by "Everpure" but rather a supposedly-equivalent filter made by (or for) Premiere.

In the product description for the PSE-3500S you purchased from us it does say it is better preforming alternative to the Everpure original in the first line and many times throughout the description. The product photo has our Premiere Sales branding on the product too.
