Review of Normie & Company

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sold within a week…

Absolutely brilliant service from all involved. Selling a house when it's empty and you live a good distance away, is not easy. However, Normie and especially Nigel made the sales process and viewings very easy. The house sold within the first week of being on the market.
Then began the solicitors run around.
Normie's Sales Progressor, Nicole was fantastic in co-ordinating all involved and kept me better and quicker informed than my own solicitors did. Without Nicole, I have to wonder if completion would ever have taken place.
Thanks to all at Normie, especially Nigel who really is Mr Unsworth and to Nicole who works far too many hours in her quest to keep clients satisfied.

Review of Skipton Building Society

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Staff are great - Society policy needs to change

Staff are great, they are only doing their job.
However, when savings rates are rising Skipton Building Society regularly bring out new 'Issues' of the same Savings/ISA accounts. These new 'Issues' pay the higher rate and customers with existing accounts of the older 'Issue' continue to receive the lower interest rate. I wonder how many elderly people without ability/access to the internet are still receiving interest below the market rate because they cannot keep a check on Skipton's new accounts/'Issues'.
Personally I don't think this is 'Treating Customers Fairly' and will be redirecting my savings to other financial savings products offered by the likes of Saga or Aldermore both of whom appear to automatically increased interest rates on their existing products.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We understand this may be frustrating and I have passed your comments on to the relevant team.

Review of Manchester Airport

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

OKish

Current construction / engineering work is making access complicated but once inside the 'pound' it was easy to find a car park space and buses were reasonably timed.
Recently publicised future 'drop off' charges are a sign that Manchester Airport has joined Rip Off Britain.
