The hotel was clean and tidy but it is starting to look tired! The bathrooms need updating with just a shower and please please put enough shelves in the bathroom to accommodate all your stuff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Incorrect size advice - don’t buy!

I ordered (as suggested by them) my normal size - a size 20 - according to them that is a XL - which I discovered today when it arrived, is actually a size 16 and no use to me. Why do they give incorrect advice?
I need to return this but strongly resent having to send it all the way back to China (especially when they have a warehouse over here) at my own cost when the reason for the return is their fault!
Why do they deceive your customers? It’s crazy!
DONT BUY FROM THEM!

Review of Fountain Softeners

Don’t buy from them!

I bought a tap from them approximately 3 years ago, it has a 5 year guarantee on it. It has failed and now leaks constantly and sometimes the spout disengages and water spurts everywhere. I have contacted Fountain Softeners endlessly and for over 6 months now. They appear to deny all responsibility and keep blaming their supplier, Coriandoli. They have promised a new part before Christmas but of course it has not arrived! I have tried to be pleasant throughout this process but after speaking to James (who has no customer service skills whatsoever) I am feeling it is time to resort to Watchdog etc. Very very disappointing. My advice, do not buy from this company.

It is standard practice to send customers back to the tap manufacturer/importer who are able to provide spares and advice during, or outside, of warranty, which is what we appear to have done in your case. Unfortunately, we do not hold any tap spares for this supplier in stock and we are therefore reliant on them sending these items to our customers.

If this matter is still outstanding, please contact us directly with your customer number or order number so we can try to resolve this for you.

Very unhelpful manager

Very unhelpful manager, extremely patronising, he didn’t seem to understand what walking boots were for. Never been made to cry in a shop before.
So different from my last experience there.and going by their response to this, they can’t read either!!,

The worst trousers ever!

The worst trousers ever!
I am feeling very cheated. I purchased a pair of The FLI softshell pants (not cheap) which are described as ‘warm’.I received mine and wore them outside (it is 4 degrees, not really that cold) thinking I would be nice and warm, but I was colder than when wearing my normal trousers. I am extremely disappointed.
They also make a hideous noise when you are walking.
Feeling totally conned that I have wasted my hard earned money on a pair of sub-standard trousers that do not perform as described.
Have complained to the company, but they refuse to accept what I am saying.

Faulty zip, very faulty customer service!

I purchased a thick winter coat in January 2021, almost immediately the zip puller broke off and now the zip has gone completely. Obviously as it is a very warm winter coat it has not been worn more than half a dozen times. So it cannot be given to charity, I can’t use it as it is and it is too good to throw away, but I could get the zip mended which will cost me approx £30. Damart offered me £10 refund trying to say the coat is 2 years old, somebody can’t do their maths!! I think they should have offered more as the zip is obviously faulty. Not happy! Not impressed with Damart customer service.

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear the zip has broken on the coat. This is most unusual for our normal high standard of goods.

As the coat is almost two years old and you have stated in your message, almost immediately the zip puller had broke off. If you would have contacted us then, we would have been more than happy to replace this for you.

Bad but then brilliant!

When I arrived I was directed to the right section and told a young man would help me. Well he was useless! Then someone from ‘Camping’ arrived and he did his best and I was on the point of walking out from lack of any real help when a lady arrived and she was brilliant! So helpful, full of good advice so consequently I bought a pair of walking shoes. What a difference!

Terrible service

When I pay for delivery, I expect it to be delivered, not sent to my local store to be collected! Then when, after waiting for 40 minutes to be connected to customer services, for the call to be ended before the problem has been resolved!

I have located your order and can see that you requested click and collect rather than home delivery. When a customer places an order in the check out we will ask what delivery options you would prefer. These options will be delivered to the store, saver home delivery, express delivery, next day or nominated day delivery. Please note that the delivery to the store is only available for smaller items. The prices for each delivery option will also be displayed next to the option as well as an estimated delivery date so customers are aware of what they are paying for. As you selected the store collection service and we fulfilled this as requested, we would not look to reimburse the delivery charge. I apologise if you felt this was not clear and can assure you that I will pass this feedback on to see how this can be improved.

I am sorry to hear that you were unable to resolve this matter on the phone with our customer care team. However once an order is placed, we are unable to change the delivery option to change from store collection to home delivery. As a result, we would only be able to cancel the order or leave it for you to collect. I can see that you have collected this order and I hope you are happy with the products that you have received.

Very efficient service, posted my test off to catch the 5.0pm post and got my results the following evening, so essentially a 24 hours service. I was uncertain of the turn-around time and was accounting for 72 hours but needn't have worried.

DECEITFUL DISGUSTING COMPANY

They take your money quickly enough, then when the product is not as described (despite the fact they have a refund/returns policy) it is like grappling with smoke trying to get a refund or a return organised. DON’T BUY FROM THIS DECEITFUL COMPANY. I am pretty sure they do not abide by trading standards.

DONT TRUST AND DONT BUY!

Bought a sweater from them after carefully following their instructions on measuring etc. When it arrived it was not as described, it was tight and stretchy, just horrible. Tried to return it but as usual when dealing with the Chinese they do not uphold their returns policy and are just despicable to deal with.
