ONCE AGAIN Andrew left my parcel without texting me about his time of arrival. I was in hospital and would have changed the delivery if he had bothered to do so. I was lucky my neighbour saw the parcel on the doorstep and took it in. The day was rainy and windy (storm Amy) and the goods were slightly damaged. I am fed up with this service. This is the second time this month he has done this. Instead of posting apologising replies I would far prefer if DPD actually reprimanded their staff and made sure they are up to the job. HOW HARD IS IT TO SEND A TEXT??!! I’m sick of this lousy service. Andrew works the Balbriggan route

I am beyond anger and frustration with DPD. I was waiting for a delivery of garden bulbs from Mr Middleton and this morning I was informed by my neighbour that the parcel had been sitting outside our front door in the rain for the last three days. My partner and I were both unwell for days and had not left the house therefore had not seen it. DPD DID NOT text to say the parcel was being delivered, and clearly did not even knock at the door, since our bedroom is right beside the front door. NO STARS for this service. I have had at least 2 previous problems with DPD leaving parcels without waiting to see if anyone is home and now I have a 3rd one. Damp bulbs!! In the past we got good service from Paulus at DPD but since he moved the service is a downright DISGRACE!

I’m in Balbriggan and my parcel was due from IKEA. Andrew from DPD arrived on time and was very pleasant (and it a very wet morning). Thank you

Prompt delivery and the duvet and pillows are excellent

1. I had double ordered items Dunnes Stores online by mistake. They refused to help me stop the order going out although I contacted them v shortly after it was sent
2. I contacted Head Office DPD and talked to a v helpful man who cancelled the second order’s dispatch on the computer
3. Andrew DPD driver for Balbriggan knocked and then left the parcels at my front door. When I opened the door - having heard the knock and made my way swiftly to answer it - his van was half-way down the road and 2 parcels were left at my front door. This is contrary to company instructions!
4. I contacted Head Office immediately and spoke to a v argumentative man who was NO HELP. Finally he gave me the number of the local depot
5. I rang the local depot and a polite man said that he would accept that the duplicate parcel had been cancelled in the computer system, but an email had not been sent regarding same hence the mix up. I would advise you to tell all dispatchers to CHECK the computer before dispatch as an extra email should not be necessary.
6. The polite man also accepted my complaint about Andrew. Firstly because he should have at least waited til I answered the door as I had done so promptly; secondly HE SHOULD NOT leave parcels at the front door where they could have been stolen; and lastly, if he had waited I could have sent the second parcel back with him.
7. Andrew needs to be given a warning about his unprofessional approach to the job. Please note this IS NOT the first time he has done this. The previous driver, Paulus, always waited. Andrew NEVER waits.
