Good company, let down by shocking customer services
I have used 118 for few years now, fair loans & quick payout.
I always settle my loans earlier, however, this morning i was on the phone for over 20 minutes, twice, trying to get an early settlement quote. First time, i was told my detalis ( name, address and date of birth ) don’t match so the gentleman on the phone couldn’t go forward with the call. Fair enough!
As i have the mobile app, i’ve logged in, checked all my details which were correct, and called them back.
Big mistake! A gentleman called Kevin answered the phone, we verified all my details and same again, I was told they don’t match. Since that moment, Kevin was not interested to hear anything else, even when i was trying to explain that i’ve checked all my details from the mobile app, and that a date of birth can’t change, and i’m still living at the same address and have same name, and i was using 118 money for years. No luck, nothing will stop Kevin talking over me to cover my voice. In the end , i was trying to tell him that they might have a problem on their end, since my details match with the ones in the 118 Money app, and it’s not my problem and i shouldn’t have to go through all this process again and again and i was told that it’s not his problem. This Kevin is rude, and does not help!

I’ve never experienced anything similar in my life!!
I have now managed to settle my loan on the online chat and won’t use again as i don’t have time to waste with people with this kind of attitude when they should be there to help you.
