Reliable service- despite a couple of…

Reliable service- despite a couple of hiccups which meant our delivery got missed the first week, a call & follow up from McQueen’s sorted all. Would love to see a bigger range but more than happy so far.

Great wine - no side effects

Delivery was relatively quick - I had already tried the wine so knew I liked it. Portion control is easy with the cans - knowing it is organic with no sulphites is a big selling point for me.

The wine itself tastes great & I like the 187ml cans - it took a few days to come & some special/loyalty offers would help sales. I did submit my email for the initial discount but wasn’t allowed to use it.

Disappointed with the service

Disappointed with the service - this was a much anticipated fresh food delivery which we waited in for & have a camera on our front door.
Communication was good initially, however, the let down was the courier must have got the address wrong & stated that they attempted delivery & put a card through the letterbox. This did not happen.
I did get through to customer services who did try to contact the driver but they were adamant they attempted delivery.
Delivery was rearranged for the next day, which did arrive (the contents were a bit dishevelled from the extra handling & day but were intact & temperature safe). The driver blamed the GPS - however, we have daily deliveries & rarely have an issue?
A let down for both the supply business & the customer from DHL. I will not trust them with a time sensitive delivery again.

I am awfully sorry for the disappointment you encountered with your fresh food delivery, and that the courier reported an attempted delivery when no such attempt was made, especially for an order that was highly anticipated.

I appreciate your understanding of the situation and your acknowledgment of our customer service team's efforts to resolve the issue. However, I understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with the confusion regarding the delivery address and the subsequent handling of your package.

We take your feedback very seriously and will address this matter with our delivery team to ensure that our processes are improved and that such issues do not happen in the future. Your experience does not reflect the level of service we strive to provide. I do hope that we have the chance to demonstrate our usual high standards in future.

Great service - as always!

Had tried twice, without success, to book a hotel & the payment would not go through. Travel Republic called - apologies I do not remember the lady’s name- and put all through over the phone. This was a rebooking as I had to cancel the initial booking due to health issues being investigated. Once again Travel Republic was best for the price & we feel confident that anything booked via the site is 100%.

Real people with real understanding.

We use Travel Republic for most of our accommodation bookings due to the quality offered, excellent prices, price breakdown & dealing with real people in customer service. We were looking forward to heading away for 27 nights over Christmas- unfortunately, I have a health issue & was advised not to travel. I contacted TR via the customer contact form & received an email & text asking me to go into my booking to answer a question. I could not access the response despite quite a few attempts over an hour & a half. I contacted TR via phone - spoke to Penny, explaining the issue. She organised a majority refund. She was very helpful & understanding. As much as we wanted to go, health issues come first & it is a pleasure to speak to someone with empathy of a situation none of us would like to be in. Thank you Penny.

Travel Republic is always our ‘go to’…

Travel Republic is always our ‘go to’ for hotels - they have good accommodation & great prices. Customer service has been excellent on the few occasions we had to use it.

I had my reservations ..::

I had my reservations reading the reviews - however, this is a legitimate website but it is based in China. I ordered 2 x personalised LFC shirts on 13/05/24 & then read the reviews. I emailed & got a reply 2 days later with a Royal Mail Tracking number & a pic of the shirts. I also got a WhatsApp with the same information & pics. The WhatsApp’s were answered instantly. The shirts arrived via the postman on the morning of the 24th May - 11 days later. The quality of the shirts is great, they are Nike branded & the personalisation spot on. However, after looking at other sites I think you would be hard pushed to find the same quality & personalisation for such a competitive price elsewhere. There is just a bit of a wait for delivery which I think is worth it for the price, service & quality of the shirts.

Beware of signing up for telematics

Renewed my policy after completing the usual online comparisons- called direct & got a realistic price & was pleased . I agreed to using telematics & was told I would receive a link to download the app. I did not receive the email or any prior notification but noticed I received a refund from Churchill on my credit card statement 3 weeks after the policy started (minus payment for the 3 weeks). I called Churchill’s immediately to be told my policy had been cancelled as I had not downloaded the app. I checked through all my emails, including bin & junk and no email had been received, however, ‘telematics’ have insisted they sent them which I can prove they have not. They would not reactivate the original policy or discuss a viable solution other than speak to sales to get me covered again. I am also out of the country which has added to my stress levels & panic. I spoke to sales who re- quoted at almost 3 times the price of the original quote as ‘prices have increased considerably over the past couple of weeks’. I am disappointed & angry at how the company has handled the situation- it would appear that none of the departments cared about me as a customer nor were they willing to discuss a realistic solution- poor, shoddy service, would not recommend.

Please explain?! - Explained & resolved!

Since writing the below, Joanna from Travel Republic has called & further explained the situation & refunded the original deposit- this was above my expectations & certainly has negated my frustration! Thank you for listening & going above & beyond.Despite booking & paying the deposit, I am disappointed that I was able to book the hotel I had previously booked but tried to extend another week but to no avail via ‘managing my booking’. We lost the deposit & were told there was no availability- but there you go after cancellation, we can book, no problem 3 weeks later - go figure!

As we work on a live system availability can change.
We work with providers and at the time you tried to extend there wasn't availability, in the meantime the hotel might have released further rooms to the provider or the rooms showing now could be with an alternative provider.

Clear & transparent- price excellent

Having used Travel Republic for quite a few years and their excellent handling of our bookings during the 2020 lockdown - booking again was not a problem. Policies regarding cancellation & the efforts they are making to try & meet customer needs through these challenging times are clear and transparent- I have no hesitation booking through them.

Travel Republic is great for price and…

Travel Republic is great for price and we continue to use as their service was great throughout the pandemic- with regular and clear communication & refunds given where appropriate in a timely manner.
