I'm writing this having NOT had to make a claim. I have just renewed my wife's policy for her (with her permission)and can say it was painless. The premium has come DOWN by £23 for the same cover, which was nice. The renewal, online, was easy enough and the company (Saga Insurance) is well known enough to have some faith in.

Brief update as of July 2025.
The hairdryer developed a fault (it's a Parlux Digitalyon which required a new element).
Both Coolblades and Hair Tools, the approved Parlux repairer in Southampton, were absolute splendid. I despatched for repair on Monday morning and it was returned to me, fully repaired, on Saturday. Both despatch and return delivery agents got the item to its destination the next day. Communication with both Coolblades and Hair Tools was impeccable.
Very impressed. We must accept that faults can occur, even with respected and fairly expensive items ... it's the manner they're dealt with that counts.
Compare this to the service I had from that miserable shower known as "JustMyLook". The difference was "Night and Day".

It's been a couple of weeks now since Andrews and Arnold contacted me to say my VOIP landline number is fully ported from where it was before (Idnet).
I'm using a couple of old type analogue phones to use on the new A&A VOIP phone service and, with a little help from a helpful manager called Shaun, and a great fella in Technical called Alfie we were up and running and I had my old number fully working.... but with A&A not Idnet as it had been. All for a measly £12 fee to port the number over to them and £1.44 a month to provide the service.
The procedure was incredibly efficient and the staff are helpful and knowledgable.
I did remain with Idnet for my FTTP fibre having been with them for very many years and had good service but would very happily move it to A&A at the drop of a hat.
Highly recommended.

Engineer arrived on time and was fine. Pulled the fibre through and connected router. It didn't work initially due to something needing to be done at the other end so he spoke to some technical people on his phone and got it working. Very pleased with the work. Nice and neat and everything went to plan. Thank you.

That's what your AI bot spits out every time isn't it? No-one reads any of this do they? It's a farce isn't it?
Just My look have chosen to ignore my letters and emails and have ignored the laws of the land that relate to premature failure of my wife's hairdryer so I'm sure they wouldn't mind me letting others know that they have no care or concern for customers with issues or complaints. They just sell stuff for better or for worse and if it happens to be for worse then hard luck. There's no customer service, just a computer to deal with complaints.

I urge anyone thinking of ordering from Just My Look to click on the one star reviews and see if you can detect a comon theme running through them .... that is to say the Customer Service is either (a) abysmal or (b) non-existent. And just check how many there are. It's not just the odd one.
My previous entries for JML here will show that I haven't been overwhelmed regarding the service received.
They will reply initially with an automated response from their computer generated "reply-ometer" machine and then correspondence will cease completely. If your order arrives satisfactorily then so be it - well done ... but if you have any sort of query or complaint - then you're stuffed.
You've been warned.

They sent me an email advising me they weren't going to issue a refund or replacement as the warranty was up. I replied explaining that Legislation ( Consumer Protection Act) gives consumers rights in law, but they've chosen to ignore that email. So I'll wait for their AI bot to reply to this post asking for the Order number and so it will go on, knowing that they have no intention of addressing my representations to them and knowing I won't get any joy from them. But I have all the time in the world to keep posting negative Trustpilot reviews for them.

It's a little game we play. I write a one star review of Just my look to advise people to AVOID them.
Then their AI automaton issues a reply (usually the same one, although there's a couple that they use) and sometimes a day or so later the automaton asks me for my customer number so that they can review my complaint. And nothing happens .... and the following day I write another one star review. And so it goes on.
I don't use bad language or quote names so Trustpilot don't bother to withdraw them. But it rather proves that no-one actually reads them .... the JML customer service team is, in fact, a computer sitting in a cupboard in their "sales office" - and the Trustpilot customer sewrvice team is probably the same thing but in a bigger office, with a bigger computer.
