Not upfront

They bring me all the way to the end page, everything is expensive enough, and then they slap on a TWENTY FIVE EURO delivery fee? Yeah I'll use someone else thanks.

Edit: I found pixaprints.ie - way cheaper in general and much more reasonable postage (€10, express) - UI is a little less polished but I can get a much nicer and bigger print now for much less money :)

Great (almost) every step of the way

Great every step of the way, practically speaking. Friendly staff, fair prices, movers were *excellent*, facility is shiny and new. My only problem is the serious amount of calls they made to us before we made our decision to go with them. We chose them because they seemed like the best and cheapest, NOT because they bombarded us with calls. It was actually quite off-putting and we before we did go for them, we actively wanted to avoid them for this reason. We actually asked them to stop calling us so much and they didn't listen. But hey, they need to get business right?

Cowboys

They tried to charge me £300 for some admin panel I never signed up for. Didn't get an email about it, but luckily signed in the day before my "free trial" I don't remember signing up for was about to finish. I have since migrated each one of my domains away from Godaddy and will never again use their services. I use Namecheap now instead and have had no problems.

Edit, it was not clear at all! I have never in my life "fallen" for anything like this!

For any packages that you had as a free trial these would have been offered when you initially placed an order. When you are at the checkout page it will clearly display the items that you are purchasing including any free trial products which you can check the tickbox or uncheck if not wanted. This page will also display that the initial free trial period is free and will display the price for renewal.

I am sorry to hear that you feel you were not notified of the renewal, our system will generally send out an email for renewals and also raise an invoice for the payment to be taken which is sent out as an email notification.

If you wish, please respond to my request for more information where I can look into your account specifically to state what was sent out in terms of notifications.

Fantastic!

We were working with Dil from Professional Contractor Mortgages and could not be more happy with the service we received. From the initial call to the last one, he was completely knowledgeable, clear, and informative on the market. He was super responsive throughout the whole process and got us a great mortgage offer only a few days after we went sale agreed. It was all completely painless which we were not expecting. An actually good email service

To say it's much better than Sendgrid is an understatement. Their docs and pricing are clear. Templates are excellent and come with code samples (although I think the code samples button should be clearer, and they should update the node.js to have current code). I still managed to integrate it in less than 30 mins, including domain verification. I just wish they had a smaller tier as 10k emails per month is too much for my needs currently.

I cannot believe how bad they are.

Edit: I've been using Active Campaign Postmark for the last year and a bit and they are just wonderful. The product and the support are both excellent quality. They take pride in their work and I highly recommend them.

Red flags!

A few red flags led to me cancelling my order (I hope, anyway, it's not clear)

During sign up, they said the total to pay today was £0, until the last step where it went up to £9.95. Sneaky, but not the end of the world.

Got a text asking me to rate the sign-up process on trustpilot, which is probably the reason for the biased score (they make sure the sign up process functions well)

Then they signed me up for McAfee after taking my card and direct debit details. I received an obnoxious email saying my free trial has started and I will be paying £35 once the trial period ended, with no way at all to cancel.

After being on their phone line for HALF AN HOUR, I gave up and emailed instead. No reply so I called and said I wanted to sign up, and they answered my phone call immediately.

She said she's cancelled my order and would refund me the tenner, which is good. But no email confirmation of that yet so I still don't know for sure if it's cancelled. I needed to call my bank to prevent them from stealing any of my money. This process has wasted hours of my time. Go with Cuckoo internet, they're a little more expensive but much better to use and not some soulless corporation!
