Violated the Rules?
I had been completing surveys offered by LifePoints for several years, until the middle of June 2022 when I received the following message, "After reviewing your account history and performing an audit of your membership, we have found evidence that you have violated the LifePoints Reward Point Rules. Therefore, your account has been deactivated and all LifePoints (LPs) have been forfeited."
I got in touch demanding they show me what evidence they had that I'd violated any of their rules, but they refused point-blank to do so. I had accrued several LifePoints up until they dispensed with my services too - this despite quite noticeably receiving fewer and fewer invitations to complete surveys in the months leading up to June 2022: I was lucky if I received one a week. Funny that!
Imagine my astonishment when I received an e-mail from them a month later headed,
"SHARE YOUR LIFEPOINTS STORIES
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
You've been with LifePoints for several years, Phillip! ❤ That's what makes our community unique: We've been around for a long time, and we've forged fantastic relationships with our members on the way.
So, it's time to hear what you have to say: Use the button below to record a quick video and let us know how it feels to be a LifePoints member for so long. We'll then select the best videos and send you a thank you present of LPs worth US $50 if your video gets selected!"
Then in August:
"YOUR MPR DIARY NEEDS COMPLETING
Just a quick note to thank you for taking the time to register for MyPersonalRoutine and completing your routine. Once you have successfully completed the 7 DAY DIARY AND THE QUESTIONNAIRE, we will credit your rewards account with your POINTS."
I received the latter e-mail - TWICE!
You have to laugh at the level of incompetence don't you? Utterly pathetic... Hopefully, if LifePoints continue to dismiss their customers (for that is what we are) for no valid reason; and rob them of the points they have spent precious time accruing, LifePoints will go belly-up very swiftly indeed. I for one cannot wait to see the day!
