I typed in a phone number that had been calling me repeatedly. In literally less than 10 seconds, it came back with a full name and the city. It was a telemarketing company. I finally knew who was bothering me. The one-click promise is real.

Didn’t expect to get this far as a beginner

I never leave 5 star reviews but this is one of the few programs where the delivery matches the pitch. I joined as a complete beginner, and instead of getting lost in tutorials, I had a Shopify store and blueprint in under 14 days. Fast forward 4 months and unfortunately we had to restart with a new product, but I'm highly confident we can make it work the second time around.

Helped us plan our home and save money

We planned our new home completely with Plan7Architect. The best feature is being able to walk through the house virtually and notice issues early. For example, we realized the hallway was too narrow and fixed it before finalizing. We also tested different roof designs and kitchen layouts. Without this program, we would have had to pay an architect for each change. Now we just handed over the files and the architect finalized everything. The program basically saved us weeks of time and several thousand dollars.

Used books work out the same as RRP

Unfortunately greed ruined this, and there's little point buying the books on this site. The good books go quickly - minutes, if not seconds so you have to be willing to refresh constantly to find anything.

But also, the points system makes this site fairly useless. Most books are around 3 points each, and I believe 1 point is intended to be equivalent to 1 pound. So that's £3 already, plus the site fee and postage which is around £4.50 (you have to pay this on top of the points every time) and you're basically spending RRP prices on a used book.

Annoying

I owe Klarna a whole £7 and due to them refusing to give me any option to pay because I won't give them my passport details (I don't have one and why do I need one to pay £7?) I decided to just not bother paying.

The debt was passed to these people really quickly and I was forced to block theor numbers and through my email because they will call, text and email every single day demanding payment.

At this point I'm not paying out of spite.

The smallest missed payment and they will cut you off so fast - it's been a week for us and we begged them not to so we could pay on the 31st. No compassion whatsoever.

National Book Token's goal of forcing everyone into shops to spend double the price of books online makes these useless for most. I can't use these online anywhere and don't have the means to take a train to a city right now.

The Game Is Clearly Rigged

I've been playing Tombola Arcade for over a year now. I don't make large bets or put vast sums of money on it but I have spent enough to notice a pattern - one time I will put £10 on it and be able to get £30, great! However the next time you play will go very differently, the game will suddenly give absolutely nothing for the full £10 and take the lot.

They will tell you over and over that the game isn't rigged but that doesn't not explain why you can have a full block of winning over and over one session and absolutely nothing the next. If it was truly random there should be a mix of wins every time, not blocks.

I do have a theory about the winners, a lot of people say that the people who use it the most are the ones that put the most money on. In an act of transparency Tombola states everything that you have deposited, withdrawn and your net deposit. I've gone through transactions and they have more money from me than I have from them, by £20. So my theory is that they keep the withdrawal and deposit very very close to each other - so of course, the ones spending a lot of money are getting some of that money back.

The RNG will not take into consideration previous winners, how long a player has been playing or how much has been spent. Meaning it will treat every game as the first, therefore everyone has an equal chance of winning. Please consider; a random selection is very different to an even share. Therefore, we expect that at times there maybe multiple wins for one player. As a random selection, it would be suspicious if this didn’t happen. The use of a RNG is the best way to ensure that our games are fair and consistent for all players who purchase to play.

We publicise the details of all our winners on our Winners page. This shows just how many different winners we do have. Please be assured that all our players are genuine members of our site and we invite our players to share their winner’s stories with us so we can share these.

Refund Refused

I was refused a refund after I hit a verification wall - Casumo wanted a photo ID and proof of address, which I do not give, I don't wish my private details to be sold. Casumo stated (I took a screenshot) - "You can choose to close your account from the PlayOkay settings and a refund will be processed in that case." So I did, only to immediately receive an email telling me that they'll be happy to refund me when they receive the documents - in the post! I immediately contacted again to be told that of course the adviser meant without actually saying it that I would have to verify.

Nice to see straight up lying to customers is allowed. I'll be forcing a refund through my bank.

I understand that the process of verifying can be a little bit tedious, but it is something we have to do from a legal standpoint.

As part of our license with the UKGC, we have to verify that everyone who plays with us are of age and allowed the gamble with us. I.e. not under national self-excluded or otherwise ineligible to play.

This is also stated in our terms and conditions, which every player agrees to when creating an account with us, please refer to part 3 of the terms and conditions to read what was agreed when your account was created.

We can begin a refund process once you have chosen to self exclude your account, but part of the refund process is to verify your identity. That said, we would never ask for your documents to be sent through the mail, we would prefer them to be sent to our email (hey@casumo.com) and then we can upload those into our system from there.

All of your details would, of course, be safe. We have very strict rules to follow when it comes to personal details.
Your details would never be shared with third parties without your consent and we don't sell details to any other companies.

Cheap Books, Sporadic Delivery And Non-Existent Customer Service.

Great offers so no complaints there. However delivery is sporadic, last time I ordered the delivery arrived the next day and I was really happy. This time, I ordered on Tuesday, it's now Thursday and there isn't even any tracking information. Live chat is always offline so I can't really contact them and with a busy week I would have liked to have been able to plan when the order would arrive, without paying an extra 5-6 pounds.
