Deceptive marketing. Don’t be fooled.

I listened to the free webinar on zoom. I was impressed with the stories of how they developed and make money. I was surprised to hear the price was only $1195. It was a lifetime membership. Plus you can add extra people. This sounded like a great deal. What I did not realize was that this is just the initial fee. The real price comes in after the two day workshop. I was extremely disappointed . Why would you sell me a lifetime membership and then charge me several thousand dollars to get the real program. It was a very enticing offer, but you are only buying a two day workshop. This is very deceptive. They should tell you the real price before taking $1195 out of your pocket. This is not the type of people that I want to do business with. If they can’t be upfront about the pricing, they should not be giving you breadcrumbs leading you to the trap. They say you will be able to pay off this initial fee with one or two trades. They cannot promise this! They are leading you to think that you only need $500 to get started. By the time you pay $10,000 for the real purchase, and $480/yr to use their program, you may not have enough money to make trades that will restore the money that you spent. More reputable companies tell you that it is best to start with $20k so that you can see more progress.

I was told it would be simple

I was told it would be simple, but anything legal is not simple. By the time you give them your name, address and a part of your SS number, they ask you to view their privacy information. Then you find out how google and facebook will use your information and have the ability to store your information. I just wanted to sign a document and verify a person, but I didn't know my information was going to be given to others. Just say no and get a real notary to sign your papers. It is so easy doing it with the normal business standard.

Deceptively selling membership/ Hiding true cost of doing this business.

The recruitment of members to take your training was a bit deceptive. Bob indicates that the cost of running this program will take $500 minimum. Then he is selling the training program for $997.00. So you must add the two together $997+$500=$1497. In effect, he should be telling you that the cost to run the program is $1497. He never distinguishes a difference between the two numbers that he is speaking about. I believe many of the listeners will be caught in the trap of not having enough money to ever start selling online because they spent their money on the training program.

Bob and the team do our best to explain what it takes to start selling on Amazon and YOU CAN start selling on Amazon with just $500 for inventory and basic tools. We do offer various programs that cost money but that is not related to the question of "how much money does one need to sell on Amazon?"

We try to be transparent as possible with the costs involved. $500 minimum for inventory is a realistic minimum. When answering this question, Bob also usually states that $500 is the minimum and $2,000 is more realistic.

Mid-Flex ticket was not explained

Mid-Flex ticket was not explained. my price shows that it is a mid-Flex ticket. I needed to open up a new page to find out what type of ticket this is.

When I arrived at the page for Mid-Flex, it did not explain what could be re-emboursed or exchange. In fact, it tells me to check all the information associated with my ticket. (this is what I am doing) Why would your page of frequent asked questions not give the information? Why would it tell me to search for another page? This creates and untrustworthy feeling. Thankyou for listening to the problem. I hope you can help future travelers.

Many thanks for sharing your feedback, Rocky. Highly appreciated!

You do have a point: Low-Flex, Mid-Flex and High-Flex are generic indications that roughly categorize several hundreds of fares into three flexibility levels. However, every single fare (or product) offered by every single rail carrier has its own specific conditions.

When booking online, travellers are invited to unfold and read the full conditions of the selected fare(s) by clicking on a "more details" link (or on a conventional "i" pictogram) - provided on every step of the booking process. We are sorry to read that you may have missed the invite to check the full conditions of your ticket while booking online.

Considering the high number of rail carriers available on our webportal (each with their own full array of fares), a mere return journey with two transfers for a family of 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child may contain up to ... 24 (!) different fares with their respective conditions. Showing all these conditions "upfront" in the booking process (i.e. without having to unfold them) would make the interface particularly inconvenient and "massive" - especially on a tablet or smartphone.

This is obviously a matter of finding the right balance between providing essential information where relevant, without overloading our interface with endless and indigestible lists of fare conditions. Not an easy exercice indeed, but we keep investigating all possible solutions.
