Lets start with the beer. I'm a big fan of the session, and the cider, but haven't had a bad beer yet, and we have tried them all.
We visited the Farmers Puppy and tried the Rhubastard, great pint. Also had a visit to the Hawkstone brewery and sampled a few there.
One thing that stands out at all the venues related to Hawkstone, Diddy Squat and the Farmers is the staff. They are always very friendly, very helpful and always smiling, which is great to see in the UK these days and for us, makes a huge difference.
We do have a couple of pubs near us that serve Hawkstone on draught, and we also subscribe to have beer delivered monthly. The subscription is a great service. Delivery and notifications are always spot on and the service from the team online is exceptional.
Overall, big Hawkstone fans. Great beers, great ciders and great service.
