Very poor customer experience

I ordered a grey Hotpoint tumble dryer with a booked delivery slot of 12.00-17.00.

I received a black model delivered at approximately 18.30.

Now I have to wait for a refund and collection.

A very bad customer service experience, do not use.

I previously booked with Revive, who did not turn up and cancelled at short notice.

Cancelled appointment

I booked an appointment and received a confirmation. I took time off work for the appointment. An hour before the engineer was due they phoned me to cancel.
I was contacted the following day to rearrange an appointment, I asked for a weekend and was told the engineers do not work weekends. A wasted morning.

Very poor customer service, avoid.

This is a review of two parts

This is a review of two parts. First the positives, I purchased a used Mercedes from TrustFord. The purchasing of the vehicle was exemplary, the salesperson and sales manager were very professional, the welcome and facilitate at Staines was very good. My trade in value was less than expected but the vehicle I was purchasing was attractively priced, but I spent £1000 more than I wanted.

Now, the negatives. In the purchasing process I was advised the vehicle had been serviced and the schedule was up to date. However, when I contacted Mercedes to set up a service plan, I was advised a service was due. I arranged the service as an element of my service plan, Mercedes advised this was a cost of £650. I do not doubt that Ford serviced my vehicle but it was not registered with Mercedes.
When I inspected the vehicle I asked if the tyre repair kit was in the black bag in the boot and was told Yes. When I got the car home I checked the boot. The tyre sealant and compressor were missing, I reported this to TrustFord on multiple occasions and was told they would supply it. After a month I raised an official complaint, I received a prompt reply and shortly thereafter received the missing parts.

In the month I wanted for the tyre repair kit, I had a family funeral to attend and was reluctant to travel without a repair kit and had to purchase a can of tyreweld, another expense after the service.

The after sales service was appalling. Which is why I can realistically give the dealership 2 stars.

My advice to purchasers is to double check what you are told and ensure all accessories are supplied with a used vehicle, especially puncture repair kits, it is in easy to see if a spare wheel was missing.

Posture corrector

I purchased a posture corrector, which was smaller than expected. Ponty supplied a second corrector of a larger size, except it was exactly the same size as the first. They advised they would arrange a return and refund, which did not happen.

One star is half a star too much.

Waterstones on line service is rubbish

Waterstones on line service is appalling. I order books with an comment for delivery collection within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks no book. My account indicates payment taken preparing for despatch. 2 weeks later it still has not been despatched. I telephoned and was told they will look into it.

Is it not illegal to take money without providing a service?

OnceI have spent my loyalty points I will shop elsewhere. Coles book shop is the level Waterstones should aspire to replicate customer service.

A bad decision to purchase from Fineline.

Great customer service up to the point of payment. Since then, it has been impossible to speak to a manager about the many ongoing quality issues. To date we have been waiting a month for a manager to contact us. Our sales contract has all but disappeared.

To be avoided at all costs.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my elderly in-laws for whom we arranged this project.

Very poor experience

Very poor experience. Appointment was late by 30mins. Price offered was way below the original offered price. Quoted 4195. Offered 3500. Checked the bodywork with a magnet and claimed it was full of filler. I checked the same panels with a magnet, the panels were all metal! Do not believe the adverts.

The response is appreciated but does not address why the sales person claimed the car was full of filler, which it is not. The mileage was correct, I advised partial service history, it has a full history, it also has rear parking sensors, so actually exceeded my valuation details.

Sports Direct: A bad experience

Ordered trainers from sports direct, they arrived 5 days after the stated date. I contacted customer service, they advised the date given was not the delivery date!!! Finally found trainers thrown over garden fence, without a delivery card advising where the package had been put. This is a delivery for which I was charged £4.99. Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced, they were not interested in improving the customers experience. I will never purchase from them again.

I could not access my account because…

I could not access my account because it did not accept my voice. I complained through resolver, unfortunately the reviewer did not examine the evidence and rejected the complaint. I am now in the process of moving my business to a bank who wants customer satisfaction. 30 years loyalty is worth nothing.

Avoid the Halifax Bank.
