Dodgy imported product with false delivery dates advertised

I ordered this item on 10th December and the delivery due date showing was before Xmas. There is still no sign of my order and the tracking system says it is currently on an international flight. I assume it is therefore dodgy Chinese crap dressed up on social media to look like a quality UK product. I have chased and received no reply. This was my sons Xmas present and it now looks highly unlikely he’ll receive it on time. I would avoid this company and product like the plague.

They really don’t live up to the image they are trying to project

Our experience of Sofas & Stuff was really disappointing. Given the premium price we were expecting a premium service and that is not what we have received. We had one 7am delivery (an early morning which in itself was pretty unpleasant!) where our two sofas were different colours. The second attempted delivery, also at 7am (they messaged us at 6.30am to say they were nearly with us, just as my alarm went off) and this time the two sofas had different coloured legs. We accepted them this time and it has taken over a month to establish why all the errors, get new feet ordered, and here we are a month later still with different coloured feet and having to chase constantly for updates. I would recommend steering clear of these guys-they really don’t live up to the image they are trying to project!

This company is a scam outfit

This company is a scam outfit. We ordered some goods, were told after a two week wait that they were unavailable, then I asked for my payment to be refunded (over £400) and to date, nearly a month later, I have only been refunded £165. I keep being told my emails are being ‘forwarded to our accounts department and we await their reply’. I think all the reviews on here are probably fake, and I intend to take this up with TrustPilot. I am also contacting trading standards. This company is a scam.

5 out of 6 ordered items out of stock?!

JD Sports are you playing some sort of game? Having a read through all these 1 star reviews from people who have placed orders and then had them cancelled due to being out of stock and then the refund taking ages...I spent over an hour yesterday on your website, dealing with various glitches, but patiently saw through an order for six items. I have just received an email to tell me that only 1 item has been dispatched, the other 5 are out of stock! Do you actually have any stock or are you seriously misrepresenting to customers and then taking a long time to process refunds so that you make money via interest in the intervening period? All seems a bit fishy to me, will be emailing a few consumer websites...

Scam company - AVOID!

I think this company is some sort of scam, I would avoid at all cost. We ordered (and paid!) nearly £300 for a kitchen tap from them in January and after receiving the initial confirmation email, which advised they would be in touch to confirm dispatch, we have heard nothing. I have tried calling but the line just goes to voicemail. I have also tried to contact through Paypal resolutions but also no reply so have now escalated to a Paypal claim and hoping I'll get my money back that way. This is a very dodgy business, purchase from them at your peril!

I would avoid this company at all cost

I would avoid this company at all cost. We ordered a remote control aeroplane for our son for Christmas, only to receive a customs letter weeks later (after Christmas!) telling us we needed to pay charges to receive the item which are almost equal to the cost of the plane! At no point in the ordering process was there any indication that further charges may be due, otherwise we would have shopped elsewhere. We are refusing to pay the charges (obviously!) so the item will be returned to Banggood but they are refusing to refund delivery costs both ways. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had

I would caution anyone against buying a bed or mattress from Made.com. I ordered a super king size bed and 'The One' mattress on the 22 November and I have been given such appalling service since then, the upshot being that I currently have a very large bed but no mattress to sleep on. The final straw has been today, after waiting in for the whole morning for delivery of said mattress (which was originally scheduled to be delivered two days ago but the lorry broke down?!), and then, after the time slot I was given had lapsed, chasing it up to be told it is damaged and a replacement will have to be sent, I have now spent the best part of an hour trying to speak to someone at Made about this but still no joy. I have read horror reviews before and always assumed that they were written by very fussy customers but I would consider myself quite easily pleased. I bought a mattress, and I would just like to receive it on the day it is due with good communication throughout. I have had none of this. I am absolutely appalled.
