I bought this to replace an old one which had broken and purchased a dearer one which I hoped would be better. Unfortunately not the case. The mounting plate is too small to house the light sensor, incoming power cable and connection block however much I tried. The only way to mount this unit was to not use the mounting plate and screw it directly onto the wall, there was then sufficient space for the electrical components.Then ensuring waterproof by sealing it with silicone around the outside and the wall. Generally a poor design and not worth the money paid for it .
