Worst company I've ever delt with!!
We signed up 12 months ago in the understanding we could cancel but are now being told its 18 months.
We wanted to decorate so my husband moved a sensor and ADT want £100 to call out an engineer to get the alarm back working. I wasn't happy about this as they can switch it on remotely and just wanted to make money out of us! I refused to pay what would have cost £300 to be able to decorate our own house!!
The alarm has not been working since the 19th September and I have made several long pointless calls. I finally got through to someone who could et the alarm workings and updated outlet software. Low and behold the alarm works and didn't need an engineer at a cost of £100 a piece. My husband is an electrician by the way so loving the sensor was not an issue!
I have tried to contact Tyne accounts department and been promised a call back for several days now and not heard anything! I will refuse to pay for the mo th the alarm was inactive as I will not pay for a service I did not receive! ADT are supose to stop theft not commit it themselves!
Disgraceful company who threatened my husband with legal action if we didn't pay that month. How very dare they!! I spoke to at least 4 people who didn't understand the product or could answer the question of why an engineer had to come out. The answer is that they don't, they just want more money out of us. Daylight robbery, never ever sign up!! Go down B&Q and buy your own!
They don't monitor them like they say. I've come downstairs countless times in the morning, made a cup of tea, had breakfast and ten be alarm would go off...how is that helpful?!! Robbers could have emptied the house and be sunning themselves in Mexico by the time I got a call!
I want my money back as I was lied to and have received no noteworthy service for a product I'm paying for!!!!
