Customer service is just aweful

Customer service is just aweful. There packaging for shipping is also aweful. Basically if anything goes wrong it's time wasting and you get zero help and the bad part is due to the poor packaging products get damaged often.

You probably won't get what you order

Placed an order for some of his items. He then told me they were being delayed so cancelled my order. Figured OK maybe that's true. Placed 2 other orders later and after a few weeks asked what was happening and told me he will check on them. Had to contact him back as nothing happened for a month and he said the company he was getting them from cancelled his orders. I'm calling bull crap at this point. He was never shipping the items. Just taking my money for a period and refunding when and if I noticed.

Company charges way too much and not innovative

Company charges way too much and has way too many issues. Had them for years and finally got out. Shipping costs stopped functioning properly for customers and like I have read before payment charges just didn't seem to go through and had a ton of complaints from customers.

Switched providers as I just had to and was charged the whole time I was switching. Poor customer service and just seems to be a company holding on and not being innovative.

Cancelled Transactions Do Not Hurt Sellers

You will never know if a seller is good or not as a seller. A seller can just cancel any order at any time and they will not be reprimanded or given poor feedback to show a true transaction. I had a seller who never shipped my item and then I just had to cancel the order after 2 weeks and then I saw he had 17 CANCELLED TRANSACTIONS in 7 MONTHS. Contacted customer service and they just said we review cancelled transactions and you can't leave feedback on a cancelled transaction. Company is not reliable for sellers as there are no standards.

Paypal was an OK company

Paypal was an OK company. They have gone a little up and down with protecting sellers more or less throughout the years. They do not help small business a ton, which I feel should be at a higher advantage when you take in $20,000 a month but you have to take in like over $100,000 to get much of a discount in fees. Also now the biggest thing is when you refund someone the fees are no longer refunded! This is crazy and I can't believe it is allowed. If I have to cancel an order or refund a customer for combined shipping or a price decreased I have to suck up the $1 here or $2 there and it doesn't sound like a lot but at the end of the year for me I would not be surprised if that is $500. In the end I will be looking for other solutions to ebay as the fees are high, there customer service is probably above average but not amazing and now they are taking every penny they can from a customer. No thanks.
