Efficient, reliable, polite, get the job donw

We were looking for a company that could quote at short notice and clear my father in laws house as he was going into a home. Tracy arrived, as agreed, on the Tuesday and provided a quote and on the Thursday she arrived with her team to complete the clearance. There were 4 in total and she directed the work efficiently and everyone was hands on. Even when we made hot drinks for them they ended up drinking them cold because they worked non stop from 9:30 in the morning until 3:45 that day. They nearly filled 3 lorries with mostly items for recycling and some furniture that could have a new lease of life. I can hardly believe that we contemplated tackling this ourselves when I saw how much work was involved. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They were all polite and they made an emotional, and difficult task a breeze for us. The fact that they were able to do the work at short notice also meant that we were able to terminate the tenancy earlier (DWP housing were brilliant offering to do this) and the savings made on rent paid for half of the costs of the clearance. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with them and I wish them all the success that they deserve.

Zero stars is not an option

Zero stars is not an option. On the 16th of April I placed an order that was supposed to have 2 large samples included. Neither of these arrived. I only placed the order because of what I considered a good offer with the samples. On the 19th I wrote to complain about them not being included. On the 26th I wrote again as I had had no response. 4 weeks later 2 small samples arrived, these are not the samples I was promised. This is deceitful marketing and I will not be buying from them again.

Hugely disappointing waste of my time

Hugely disappointing. On Saturday I booked 2 tyres to be replaced using the mobile service as I have a flat and cannot drive the car. I booked for today (Monday) for an all day service and it was not until 12:43 that I got a missed call asking me to call back. I called back at 12:45 and spoke to Carl who was helpful and forwarded on a message to ask for me to be called back. Having received no call I then phoned again at 16:31 and spoke to Carl again. He sent a direct message to the person who had raised my call. I then missed another call at 17:04 as my phone cut into voice mail, I called back immediately and spent anther 18 minutes on the phone. The lady who tried to help me, like Carl was not at fault, she tried to rebook for Wednesday for the same tyres only to tell me that she was unable to apply the discount that I had received on them. I had lost the will at this point and asked her to cancel the job. Now I am told it will be 3-5 days until I get a refund, how do people who don’t have spare money deal with this ? In the meantime I now have to try to find a different supplier and for each day lost it’s nearly £40 in taxi fares. I wont be using, or recommending quick fit again. If your stock systems are cannot be relied upon you shouldn’t be taking bookings .

We just wanted to say how pleased we…

We just wanted to say how pleased we are with the greenhouse. It looks amazing and the gents were lovely and worked so hard. Being able to view a smaller greenhouse first with another one of your customers was key in helping us decide to buy the greenhouse, as was viewing it at Hampton Court Flower show subsequently.

Our thanks to all of you for a professional job from the moment we first enquired until the completion.

It’s a truly beautiful structure.

We would not hesitate to recommend the team at Cultivar.

Fabulous selection and fabulous staff.

Possibly our favourite shop in the whole world. Wonderful selection of rugs and just the best staff. Sometimes we go in just for a browse around when visiting Olney. Today we took my mum in for her birthday to choose a rug. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. Such a wide range of rugs and prices for all budgets, you wont find a selection like this at John Lewis. Highly recommended.

Great customer service and very pleased with my purchase.

My first Brizebox went missing care of DPD but another one was sent out promptly. I had read a few reviews about it being difficult to fix to the wall. I understand why people feel this way but a little planning makes it easier to mount. I made a template for the the holes using card and marked them out on the wall and used a small drill bit to mark the hole locations and then a 12mm bit (for the wall mounted £124 box) and drilled the holes. I then propped mine up on the packaging box and a little more to lift it to around the height that I wanted and pushed the first 2 bolts through into the bottom holes and hammered them in, a short stubby hammer is preferable at this point. I then opened the drawer and put the last two bolts through and hammered them in (definitely need a stubby hammer at this point). I then tightened up the bolts with a spanner, needed to hammer in again a couple of times and check that it was flush to the wall, really pleased with my parcel/post box. I think it would be easier with 2 people however. We had decided not to have a letterbox in our new door as there was always a draft no matter what we did. We were originally going to mount it on the wall next to the door, it was an excellent match for our door, but it’s a but chunky so now lives up the side of the porch. I’m hoping to go and look at it again in the morning.....it’s lovely :-)

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service after we had issues with our soda stream. A replacement was sent out after we provided proof of the problem without out us having to return the existing item first. Return postage label provided so all at no cost to ourselves. Kim was our contact and was so helpful and polite.

Failure after failure after failure

Yet again Parcelforce have failed to even drive past my house and have sent a parcel back to the sender. If I had known the sender was going to use Parcelforce I would not have bought from them. You don’t even have an excuse with contactless deliveries and most of the country staying at home and we are no exception. We have a nest doorbell and foscam cameras recording at the front of our house and NO-ONE has been, so come on, what’s your reason this time ??? Driver just had enough and could not be bothered ??

In response to you’re reply Parcelforce, I have already emailed your customer services 2 days before publishing this review, and i left this review after several attempts at phoning the depot where I just got rerouted to other depots who said they could not help. Perhaps you should start looking at your emails first and they your customers might leave more positive reviews

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. Having waited 6 weeks for an expensive kettle to be delivered the light on the switch stopped working within 3 days. I have contacted Ambiente a number of times now over the last month and they are incapable to sorting a return or a replacement. I will not be talking with my bank to try to reclaim the money spent with them. I response to ambiente’s reply to my review it has now been 5 weeks, it does not take 5 weeks to deal with a claim. I have now resorted to trying to get my money back through PayPal.

Go elsewhere

Bought a couple of suits for Christmas online, paid the delivery and have sent them back because they did not fit my husband and I could not get a refund in store anymore. Website says up to 14 days for a refund... so that will be after Christmas so I now have to find the money to buy my husbands suit elsewhere as HOF are hanging onto our money. They are making it as difficult as possible for you to spend your money elsewhere once you spend it with them by offering you and exchange or an unrealistic refund time. I was able to get my last return refunded in store, had I known that this was no longer possible I would not have ordered. I paid £19 insured delivery to return and it arrived the day after, unlike my refund that I am having to wait for. And in their returns FAQ they are trying to suggest that the banks can make refunds take longer. I have spent a lot over the years, never again. I went to HOF because they are struggling, I could have place my order with JL but I thought I would try to help HOF. This kind of service will be the final straw for HOF
